Come on guys, we will be fine.

I have always said to myself that, the moment I fear Danny Green is the moment I stop being a Heat fan.

I'm sure our guys are not worrying about the Spurs but focusing on the game 3. It's a long series on both conferences and they just got started.

Danny Green is a good dancer though.

It's gonna piss me off that Durant gets a pass.

Mr unreliable should get the blame. Period.

I'm seeing multiple people in the media/coaching world actually declaring the Spurs as one of the greatest teams of all time. Spurs mania has taken over. No doubt they deserve a lot of credit, but how about they win the WCF first and play a team that legitimately plays defense.

And see, you just know the media darling, Golden Boy will get no blame for any of this from the media, the narrative will be "Ibaka was hurt".

Was Lebron afforded the same luxury? When Bosh went down, if we had lost to the Pacers in 2012, would they have cut Lebron slack for not having a key player in Bosh?? **** no, hed get all the blame.

But the thing is, if that ever even happens to Lebron "a player going down", he doesnt give up and score 15 pts and say "oh well im not gonna win without Bosh", naw, he puts up an ungodly performance and wills the team to victory with his partner in crime (wade/westbrook for Durant), and moves on.

Man up niqqa.

Thats true about LeBron now...and recently...

but would we have said that after the 2011 season?

Wade got hurt in game 5 against Dallas...and WE NEEDED LeBron to step up.....and he didnt...Not only in game 5...but with Wade feeling the effects in game 6....LeBron didnt step up..

LeBron is obviously superior to Durant (I admit getting caught up in the hype to thinking Durant was as good back in February...although right he would get MVP cause he "went for it")

But guy's have to learn to win big...

LeBron may end up being THE GOAT...and he had to learn it. KD with less help just isnt good enough to beat the Spurs right now. LeBron can.

In a way it's not too bad because it shows people don't hold him in as high of a regard as Lebron, because you know LBJ would be getting destroyed right now if this was him.

How long has this MVP Durant been failing though? How many times does he get a pass??

And im not gonna get into the whole 2011 Lebron/Mavs series. Look at the numbers Bron was putting up in the series before Dallas. Do you really believe he just choked? Or did you not notice the most incredible, brilliant defensive scheme ever created to stop Lebron? Give Dallas some credit for that zone D they came up with, its what won them the series.

but in game 3 against the Spurs...

We lost 113-77...

LeBron scored 15 points (7-21) in 39 mins..

I mean lets just say that KD sucked and moved on. Dude deserves blame.....But I'm sure that its a "kick him while he's down" moment

They'll still compare him to bron, but he has the Westbrook cushion and the brooks cushion.

It's so annoying. Players would crumble with the amount of pressure bron went through and still goes through.

Smartest and most efficient team in the league. We have the best player and a great second option in D-Wade, but the Spurs are hands down the better team when it comes to executing efficient team plays. If both teams face off in the finals again, we'll have to hope that both of our big three plays like their lives depends on it and our role players knock down their open shots. The only that i can see OKC win this series against the Spurs is if a few of the key role players for the Spurs gets injured or the refs start send OKC to the FT line 40+ times in the next five games.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

We're talking about the best player in the NBA....

scoring 17 points a game.

I dont give a damn how good the defense is. Thats inexcusable. And there are legit reasons for his struggles, "poor spacing, poor coaching, LeBron tired" all VERY LEGIT. But c'mon man....

Idk. Maybe its just me...but ever since that 2011 Finals....I learned to be humble. Because you're right...people forgot all the great series before. Just like people are going to forget how great KD was this season because he's getting owned by the Spurs. thats just the way it is.

Well difference is: a. Lebron had a much better post season before the 15 point game compared to Durant
B. that was later on in the playoff round so fatigue could've been an issue

I was just browsing Durants stats right now and not including this 15 point crap game, kd has been playing like absolute **** this post season. Per of 23, wS/48 of .171, posting second worst playoff stats of his career.

If there's a time to criticize a "star" it's now. Lebron has never disappeared in the playoffs like this. This isn't just one series, this is kd's FULL playoff production.

It's pathetic.

I like KD's style of basketball - dude is money when shooting. He simply plays differently than Bron. I'm not going to hate on him when more than likely the Heat won't be playing OKC anymore this season.

First off...we must remember that we won our 1st 3 series....all in 5 games....

So that was just 15 games played before reaching the finals. This would be KD's 15th game as well..

The bolded I cant disagree with.

If people want to talk about KD being a letdown for the playoffs...than that is fair game. I was just talking about this isolated game.

With that being said.

Does KD playing "below average" for a post season

Which "balances out" to being "better" Lets look at it in a vacuum.

KD avg 30/9/4 this postseason and getting swept by the Spurs.

Or LeBron averaging 18/7/7 against the Mavs and being a no show in the 4th Qrt of the NBA finals?

You can see why one carries more weight than the other. What KD is going through is more along the lines of LeBron vs. the Celtics (when he was a Cav. LeBron still put up huge #s for the series...but it wasnt "good enough"

And I could be wrong, but the irony is that the posters here (when LeBron was a Cav) pointed out how LeBron came up short vs. the Celtics and how Wade did much better that year.

What LeBron did in the finals was a letdown on a much larger scale.

Now this points towards LeBron's mental fortitude to bounce back like this. This makes the last two championships all the more incredible because of how he bounced back.

However, to this date....LeBron's "low" is still lower than what KD has shown so far.

Now if the SPurs sweep them...and KD struggles to score 20 points....than yes thats as bad if not worse than what LeBron did vs. the Mavs.

Apparently WB was yelling at KD about something in the game.
It looks like he was telling KD to use his head. It must be tough to be told to use your head by Westbrook
