My man you are joining a team with a starting frontcourt that consists of 2 guys that were 10th and 11th in the NBA in dunks last season, despite Ware only really getting regular minutes for half the season and Bam having less offense created for him than most of his counterparts. 2nd most dunks last season among any starting frontcourt. And that was with Miami having the lowest rate of assists from any lead guard in the NBA last season. If you got the floor vision and passing chops, you should be in heaven right now.

Hopefully he’s ready to step in and make an instant impact, we need elite playmaking NOW!

Yea I'm not ready to put that expectation on him at all. I def expect a learning curve. It's not like the team is set up to truly compete this season. Developmental season is looking likely. If so, I hope they fully lean into it at the expense of wins.

But, he does have the skillset to get the ball flowing to playfinishers in position.

Spo will generally trust a guard that shows he can play over a big. So it will be up to him in summer league and camp

I find we're too restrictive with the bigs, but that's for another day.

Yeah Spo played and started Kendrick Nunn, played Tyler Herro and gave Duncan Robinson(his first full year) big minutes all at the same time.

That second unit is Utah Jazz level team building…

Need more Euros! Get that Wiggins for Bogdan trade in the works, get a pick out of it, and let’s trade all our picks for Luka, and bring Goran into the coaching staff!! Then we can start the re-brand… Miami Euro-Heat!

(JK by the way, but definitely glad to see the Heat lean in on players with more international experience)

Kamala Harris-level word salad.

Do not do this SA… leave politics off this board please. We all need a safe and politics-free escape from the current chaos that is US politics and crumbling global relations. Make hit comments towards Spo and Riley, Wiggins, Rozier, JJJ, 3ammy, etc, but digging at the former VP and opposing presidential candidate, only implies you are in support of the current chaos and word salad of administration and are also stirring things up in here… you see, getting me started. That’s why, leave government politics off of this board or at least off of the non-random thoughts threads.

You read WAY more into that comment than you needed to.

There is no such thing as reading too much into that type of comment… real people are being impacted in severely negative ways these days… for those impacted, this type of humor is not taken lightly. It stings and reminds them of the issues they are currently experiencing. I am glad to hear you have not been impacted, thus this humor is acceptable to you…

Okay now I really want dunks to count as 3 points.

Like him a lot more then WCJ.

But less then Nolan Traore.

We'll see, I think and hope he's a better shooter then he showed, the FT % is encouraging.

My biggest worry is the lack of speed/burst.

And that defensive fit wit Herro...man..

I wouldn't worry about his fit with Herro yet. We're not good enough to do anything anyway. If he shows enough upside that makes us think he can be our lead guard, we could just trade Herro for someone who can defend.

I wouldn't like us to trade Bam unless it's for a complete rebuild even though he is older, but Herro is expendable in my book whether it's for a one-to-one change, retooling or rebuild. Fool's gold player whose play doesn't carry over to the PS.

Vlad was a load to deal with at Michigan. Had some monster games. Can shoot occasional 3. Great development 2 way prospect. Just what we needed
