I hadn't seen it was PEDs. If so, is he the lone NBA name on the Biogenesis list?

I doubt it.. Also the length of the suspension really makes you wonder if it even was for PEDs..

Upon adding Oden, the Heat issued a quote from the center that read, "I am very excited and happy to be here. I'm thankful to the Miami Heat organization for bringing me in and I'm ready to get to work."

Riley added, "It's a great challenge for him. We know all about his past injuries, but we feel that there is a huge upside and the possibility of him helping us. We will continue his program and then we will tackle basketball issues after that."

Adrian Wojnarowski‏@WojYahooNBA11 דקות
Williams deal will pay him $5.6 million over two years, with player option for second season.

Basically MiniMLE money. Not a huge loss, but he was the best option for that money.

So right now we got :

Rio/Cole
Wade/Allen
LBJ/Battier/JJ
Haslem/Battier/Lewis
Bosh/Birdman/Joel/Oden

The big question mark is - is Bosh still going to be a full time Center. And is Joel going to be on the roster/ever see the court. If Bosh is a full time Center - our PF options are quite miserable honestly. 3 undersized old geezers.

We need another wing, and Ennis makes sense IMO. I guess Odom might not be such a bad option for the minimun, although i think he's done.

odom avg'd 10.7 REB per 36 last yr
2nd highest of his career

still an excellent rebounder and that's all we need from him. if he's actually an option (have no idea), odom would be perfect IMO

I agree, i'm not sure odom is leaving LA tho. I think he is going to play for lakers or clippers.

I'd like to see us look into Dahntay Jones on a minimum deal. Maybe DeShawn Stevenson could be brought in as well, but I think his history with LBJ and the Heat likely rules him out.

We could use another defensive player with enough size and athleticism to give Rose or Westbrook a look when LBJ and Wade are resting. Battier can't be considered an option against the PGs with elite athleticism, Allen and Chalmers can't stay in front, and Norris is a little small to defend those Westbrook/Deron types of player.

How do you jump from sentence 1 to sentence 2 there?

I think the obvious conclusion is that we need another big.

We need Both. Although we could manage without another wing IF everyone stays healthy. but with Ray and Wade, we shouldn't take that gamble. Keep Ennis around in case anyone misses some time and we'll need a 3 and D athletic player.

The PF position is probably the bigger need, i agree. that is if we keep Bosh at Center.

I support the Ivan Johnson idea, we need a younger defender rebounder type and Ivan can hit the jumper too. could be solid for us. Odom could be great IF his mind is into it, but he looks 54YO lately. Harrington cant really defend or rebound so i dont see the point..he's another version of Lewis.

Dont really see any other options at PF for us - It's Ivan Johnson Or Odom.

So glad mo wasn't signed. And no to LO. we need someone who can play defense and rebound not one or the other. Ivan's shooting per hoopdata is similar to Haslem, wouldn't mind if we signed him and his defense is much better than odom's.

A player that hasn't been mention but I would like our team to look at is Seth Curry. At the end of the day he's a good shotter.
