If Lebron committed this would be so much easier, free agents would come here knowing they're going to play with Lebron, but since Lebron pretty much is leaving his status unknown, free agents aren't going to wait around, they need a team to go to and they need to get their money.

I'm sure it's been posted, but Darren Collison signed with the Kings for 3 year $16M.

Basically, young players are most likely to go to whatever team that will pay them the maximum $$$.

I'm almost positive the NBAPA is on the player's and agent's ears about the Clipper's deal and that they're getting robbed and should go after as much money as possible.

That Donald Sterling event put a huge dent to the NBA besides the racism, affected how the players' view the salaries they've been receiving.

Maybe you are right. IIRC young players are most likely to go for the most money, that's just the way it always has been for the most part I think... and who can blame them? I don't wanna play for the Kings, but for over $5M a year? **** yeah sign me up!

I just want some solid players who have already got paid a ton in the past to play for us for discount.
