This is what the Spurs get for stealing Roby from us lol. Kid has got some real nice form on that shot. But most importantly he's built like a brick wall.

Looks like Brooklyn has a tough decision to make next summer

Hardly surprising. But I hope we're not the ones paying Herro that kind of money or anywhere close to it.

The biggest issue by far is that contract Miami gave Robinson last year and Herro knows those numbers. Even at 25 mil a year Herro would be a better value than Robinson although I wouldn't want either for those prices.

What we know:

KD wants out of BKN and has a list of desired destinations

BKN has limited avenues to make a deal, while doing right by Durant

IMO, Miami has ALL the leverage to wait this out. If we don’t get Durant, we lose nothing. FA isn’t our avenue of improvement, it’s the trade market. We have the assets (picks and marginal talent) to improve some role player positions.

If Miami pivots BKN will get stuck with a disgruntled Durant and look even less appealing moving forward.

If Durant stays adamant with his list, he will be in a Heat uniform. It’s all on him to be patient and hold firm.

I have to believe with the perception that 2-way players can get time and get paid by Miami, they probably were one of the top destinations for 2-way players meaning they have a pretty good selection and picked Garrett and Days, which I wouldn't be surprised if both are needed to play this year in Miami. Both seem to be young potentially good role-players for many years.

UD’s guidance will help Days come along fast.

I like Garrett but he has a lot to prove offensively. Hope his rust in the Summer league is just him being inactive from that injury and that he'll regain some semblance of offense

Garrett is an elite defensive stopper. If he can just get a spot up 3 ball he will have a long career in this league.

If Herro wants a max then earn it. Just how the Suns played it with Ayton we can do the same thing. No work No check

My biggest worry is that the Pacers were playing nice. Can't a team include "poison pill" type stuff designed to deter a team from matching?

Days looks like a good prospect.

Happy we did the poaching.

Orlando Robinson, Cain, Bouyea are pretty much just getting camp looks now. We hope they go to our g league team but any team will be able to sign them to 2 ways after camp.

Garrett is basically Gary Payton 2.0.

Hopefully the end result is more 4 years $90 million than max. Unless he has taken a star step. He has only played half a season so far that was worth paying good money for.

Miami may go the Phoenix route perhaps, let him play out the season, earn the max. If he comes out putting up 22-25PPG on good efficiency as a starter, chances are he will get that Max. However they will let another team bid on him and see what the market is offering.

Generally teams work with each other, except if you're the heat. Then they all tell you your players are trash and worthless. Then turn around and sign them to a 20 mil back loaded contract to try to force them away from you.
