You didn’t miss much, at least as far as the game thread goes. Just a bunch of scapegoating Herro and general bad takes as usual until the win lol

To be fair he was horrible until the 4th, glad he turned it around

This whole Tyler Herro defense thing is getting corny. I spotted so many times other players getting cooked on our team and nothing but crickets. Tyler is so polarizing but glad we have a clutch end of the game shot taker like him that actually makes his shot. Spo looked pissed he made the shot. Probably wished he could have given it to Butler for a rock hard brick

Basically everyone except Bam was getting torched tonight unfortunately. Maybe a zone fixes that, size would help. Idk.

Butler should never get the last shot in the game ever again. I love him but he’s like 1 for 500 with those shots lol

There are people who got paid a lot earlier than Tyler and have had zero expectations and just had excuses made for them up until this year. And the expectations have really only come bc he was so throughly exposed as inept offensively in the playoffs and bc we made no moves so he now HAS to score.

I agree that Tyler has to improve defensively, and he has but he still has a long way to go, but the expectations are uneven.

Size would definitely help. Herro’s not the best defender but the lack of size down low puts immense pressure on everyone guarding the perimeter.

Bam 5 fouls getting abused.
Vincent complete open door to the rim.
Duncan crap fouling machine.
Caleb was not even playing due to extreme poor defense.
Strus inconsistent not just on offense but on defense.

At least I saw Herro stripping and getting very important rebounds that plays a big role on defense.

If we’re talking unfair expectations Bam is expected to score 25 a night and be the best defender in the world or he’s “overpaid”.

Anyways I’m a Herro stan this year, great 4th quarter. Please more of that and less of the 1st 3

Let’s just enjoy the W.

We can get back to .500 with our next game vs Indiana.

The only annoyance for me is he got into the last play too early. I hate that if he had missed Kings would have had time. For some reason this team is really bad at taking the last shot of quarters. We always seem to mess up the timing.

Just happy he made a huge shot. We needed the win badly.

Tyler had a great 4th and a good overall game. In addition to the scoring, the rebounding was hugely needed.

Just done with Herro being the scape goat when things aren’t going right. This team has some major problems in the front court sans Bam. If Bam had to miss a game this team is toast with no depth. The future of this franchise is Bam and Tyler. Now we need to get the right pieces around them.

100%. Bam is so important to keeping this team afloat. He needs to do so much every game for us to even be competitive.

It's not sustainable and Riley has to see that. We cannot go a stretch without him.

Will be scouting the Pacers heavily for those trade pieces.
