Butler is still the best player but the Herro bam fit is more natural . If you get get some nice pieces for butler we can be solid next year. As much as I love butler he just getting older and we need some fresh legs

Jimmy's playstyle doesn't age well. When your whole game depends on getting hit in the paint for free throws, you are going to age faster. There is so much wear and tear on Jimmy. We've seen it with Wade who was also injury prone. It's not a coincidence. We will watch his steady decline.

Man I just realized Bam only played 30 minutes tonight?! Herro only at 32? Meanwhile we’re killing Jimmy for 38?

God bless man Spo has got some explaining to do because he’s been horrible this year

Yea honestly he had a good like 4 minute spurt and was in existent the rest of the way. If he’s going to sit tomorrow then I need way more effort tonight than that.

Don’t you fellas think Spo can make it easier on the players?
I mean this is a smaller team trying to guard 5-6 inches taller players. The Heat always plays a style that’s not very efficient at the end and it doesn’t have to be this way.

Yes Spo 100% can, unfortunately he sucks this season

Our $30M starting PG had 3-2-3 on 20% shooting and a very costly technical as he was getting picked on defensively

Unfortunately your name and contract value get you a really long as leash in this organization, and the playing time regardless of circumstance. Remember last year what it took for Duncan to get taken out of the starting lineup, we were derailing our season, and Jimmy had to basically go ape sht and throw a massive tantum on live tv for struss to get swapped. Where is Duncan now, a nobody getting DNP's and when he does play he lets people score more than what he does on the offensive end. The only way Lowry is getting benched in the 4th quarter for another player with size in crunch time will be made when someone with Jimmy or Bam's power in the team would go to Spo and say listen this has to change. Those two are the only ones the organization would listen to seriously about it.

I have a feeling that JB is about to destroy whatever is left of the Miami Heat locker room...spo and the front office unfortunate decision making this season has been the other big factor ...I fear

We dont need Lowry, we dont need Duncan. Thats 180 million dollars tied up on those two. Duncan will need at least one first round draft pick to move. Lowry at least becomes an expiring next year.

If we had any type of accountability, someone would be fired for those two signings but who are we kidding, we cant even hire a competent assistant head coach, instead we want the Chris Quins of the world ( not an attack at him ) just for once would like us to hire a competent assistant head coach, even just an offensive one so we dont have huge stretches where we cant score at all.

I get Kyle Lowry is probably after CP3 the best post defending PG in the L, but man those switches killed Miami. Gordon just had his way against smaller guys. I reckon Bam needed/should have been ISOed against Jokic all his points came from a push shot from a dump off or offensive putback he should have been trying to get fouls on Jokic early on drives, it's the only way to combat him in the long run.

Not a bad showing. The bench did better in this matchup. Jimmy didn't have a killer game. Bams percentage must be better too, but not a bad game.

Good floor game by Herro as well.

Surprised we even had a chance in this one, which somehow has even more annoyed that we didn't win lol. Jokic is light years ahead of everyone we have (he's even had better games than this) & Jamal Murray made the big plays....and we got little from Jimmy/Bam relative to what we've seen from them over the last week. Made all the difference in the end.

We simply just don't have the talent....and we're too in love with our own guys to trade them for sure things it feels like.

Legit question-is Denver the best team in the league with a healthy Murray and MPJ?

Not in my view. But they are in the upper tiers. Murray will have to show me another level. He did fine tonight.

I’d honestly love to play them if we magically made the finals. Their defense is horrible, if they don’t shoot a ridiculous 61% from 3 (17-28) Lowry and Spo don’t get T’D up and for whatever god awful reason spo doesn’t play Bam more than 30 minutes. I’d also assume Jimmy will actually try. Bam held his own with arguably the best player in the world holding him to 40% shooting as his primary defender and forcing him into 3 turnovers.

Now that I’ve had the time to reflect after the annoying loss there were actually a ton of positives and areas for growth.

I think had Miami had one of Oladipo or Martin playing last night, Miami wins the game. They were one defender short last night which allowed Denver to score 76 points on 78% shooting combined in the 2nd and 4th quarters. The more negative defenders on the court, the less ability Miami can swarm a low post player effectively.

I would love to see Thybulle added to this bench, he's a lengthy disruptor they need off the bench to help cause havoc.
