For reference, Butler and Tyus played 633 minutes together in Minnesota, their net was +14 per 100, Butler with the normal starters were +7.8(J.Teague) up to +10.5(Towns).

What's his salary?

Can we find a trade that makes sense for Tyus?

Bball ref has him down for 14M and on his last year of the 2 year deal he signed.

I know it can happen to anybody. Any team can get caught sleeping and lose to an inferior team, but I was really hoping Boston took the L.

I like the trade for Toronto more tbh. Maybe Barrett will put it together

Just now seeing the trade. I was literally wondering about Precious and Flynn as an option for the Heat yesterday. And watching the Knicks last thinking how RJ Barrett is a bust.

I hate to say it, I think its a great trade for the Knicks

I am having a good laugh at the Anunoby-Barrett trade. The Raptors board seems thrilled -- and this after years of insisting Anunoby should get endless 1sts back along with multiple starters

I don't really rate Barrett. Anunoby is one of the most overrated players, at least on these boards. It'll be real interesting to see how he does in NY.

I like the trade for NY. Barret is a joke. Quickley hurts. But Brunson and OG are interesting.

anouby is athleticish and does his job. Its wierd because thats kinda what I expect an NBA player to be. NOt really anything special. He is your average contributor in the 90's. Says alot about Barret that NY gave up on him already. NY won this trade by dropping some weight. Barrett must be feeling salty. Quickly was expendable since Brunson has prooved he can handle that spot.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

I don't think Anunoby is even top-10 at his position (no particular order): LeBron - Tatum - Ingram - Butler - Durant - S Barnes - Middleton - George - Leonard - Mikael Bridges. And he may not even be top-15 (you still have Porter Jr, Wiggins, A Gordon, Bogdanovic, Jalen Johnson, Miles Bridges, DeRozan, Kuzma, and Jerami Grant).

Agree 100% on NY "giving up" on Barrett. Another guy who isn't top-10 at his position.

Folks sleep on Anunoby, he’s arguably the best 3& D player in the league. Great on a contender, we’ll see what he can do on the knicks

I think too many people sleep on guys who create deflections for steals/TOs or get their own steals, here's one small player hustling and making LA go 0 for 2 in 2 offensive possessions.

He's a high level role-player who's career calculated ORTG-DRTG is just +2. That said it's a good trade for New York who has it's sights set on being a better playoff team.

They need him to be more than just a 3D guy. They need him to be a go-too player, especially for 40 mill per he is asking for.

Does he though? They have two go-to players already, and he doesn't need to be an All-star to be better than who he's replacing. I think that's worth a shot.

I think if you could get him at $25 million per then that feels good. You start overpaying B level players and things get congested financially.

Id rather have a guy like Caleb Martin and the money hes making than OG at $40 per.
