A really bad loss. But it doesn't change who the heat are. A win wouldnt have changed either. They are a slightly above average team that can finish anywhere from 5 to 10. They gotta punchers chance to get ECF because there's only 2 elite teams in the east and the rest are as average as Heat are. But hopefully this loss gives clarity to FO. This core as a contender is done. We need to move Jimmy for as much future assets as we can and then in the summer figure out the next move. The trade for Jimmy has to be for picks and young players. That's going to give flexibility to either go full rebuild or go for Fox who is the only guy that might be available who can move the needle. The worst thing we can do is be desperate and move Butler to get an Ingram or a Lavine or a Beal

I'd still try to win if possible. I'm sure a situation like this will happen in the future and you want your players to make the right play.

Magic missing like 5 key guys. Yet we could only score 8 times in a quarter in 2024. Spo doesnt even run a play. once the other team starts deciding to play defense we cant do anything without any real pgs and no true scorers aisde herro who was off and rozier whos only streaky for a few mins. Bam gets pared up with a guy bigger than him every game and since hes not making his 3s hes basically useless on offense.

I’m so glad I didn’t have any hope coming into this season, a loss like this back in the day would’ve put me in a bad place

I quit watching in the 3rd when it looked like they weren't going to have a bad scoring 3rd, I just happened to see the score in the 4th and almost said no way but you never know with this team for whatever reason.

Franchise corner stone was -35 for the game and got outplayed by someone whose name I never even heard of until today.

Anyways, I still put this on Spo. Ware was a +26. You cannot teach size. Stop overcompensating for Bam and use logic.

Highsmith would’ve been a good option defensively instead of watching him torch whatever guards were guarding him but hey, why play a guy that’s been starting the last 17 games or whatever
