dont get 2 cocky we still have to beat indy but..the key to the spurs is ran them from the 3point line. I can live with duncan getting look and tp in the paint. I really dont think wade and lebron will allow what happen last year when him and bron shot were cold as hell. I actually like more our chances this year then last year

Quote me homeboy.

None of this "coded chump stuff" from you.

And If you actually read my post. You'd understand the context of what I was saying. Which is something that escapes you...

ETA: I also get a kick out of you calling me a "double agent" when LeBron is my favorite player. relax and fall back.

How come this poster only comes here in defense of KD and other players/teams?

It is really weird. He is not a Heat/LeBron/Wade fan. Anytime KD has a bad performance he shows up here to lecture people that they shouldn't be discussing KD. He's obsessed with this board. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have seen him come here after a bad KD game.

After reading the last few pages, I've realized a few things. Durant sucks and Spurs already won the championship. Cool....

I usually don't look forward past a series. I have to say though if I was Indy, what is there to really hope for even if they beat us? Spurs would absolutely demolish them. Sure they have a fighting chance against us because of size, but this isn't the Finals. I feel like they view the matchup with us as the peak, but it would really just be sad for basketball if they manage to get to the Finals. I think it would be on par with Lebron's Cavs against the Spurs. Wouldn't even watch that Finals.

I mean lets just say that KD sucked and moved on. Dude deserves blame.....But I'm sure that its a "kick him while he's down" moment

Dude just isnt good enough. And also the SPurs can do that to people.

The thing here is, Lebron isn't a good shooter - and he didnt trust his jumper in that series (until in the end when he did and it was over for the Spurs)..

So whats KD's excuse? He got all the range for days.....whats the reason he cant score?

Even good shooters have off nights, ask Ray Allen. Besides, it was more than just LeBron trusting his jumper which helped him to play better and us to be better. Nobody on that OKC squad is doing s*** right now and Brooks is one of the worst coaches in the league, right down there with the likes of Mike Woodson and definitely below Spoelstra.

True they have off nights, I just think this is a series that he can still dominate, doesn't have to look like as bad as he's looking. Geez they lost one guy, fine but it should be at least a bit more competitive. Dude is pretty much chilling in the corner while ginobli defends him, I mean I understand kawhi but anyone can defend him now because it's almost like he's totally given up lol

This is the same spurs that the mavs took to 7 (blah blah Carlisle we know). I don't expect the thunder to win but I do expect to the MVP and scoring champion to go down gunning. Empty the clip. Only person playing aggressive is Russell and Reggie (as has become the case when **** gets tight).

P. S. I really just want us to win our series. I could care less about the WCF. But this is a message board and a thread about around the league. Stop coming in the around the league thread and get mad people discussing things, guess what, that are around the league (not aimed at you but everyone crying)

It's a discussion about Around the NBA, why are your panties in a bunch? Wanna read about the Heat, go in the heat thread and stop crying. I don't care about KDs failings but I do find it interesting that when he does fail people find every excuse in the book. But LeBron? Nah he's a choker.

Y'all talking like the Finals started already. I'm sick of all this Spurs talk man. Listen I respect the hell out of that franchise & I would LOVE to beat them, AGAIN but we still got a series going on right now with Indiana so um yea, please keep your panties on

I think both sides have points, but you aren't understanding each other. Irrationally getting satisfaction at KD's failings is similar to Lebron haters, or any haters for that matter. With that said, there is of course nothing wrong with discussing KD or a bad game he has. Probably stems from the media trying to label Durant as the successor to James before he is out of his prime.

Personally, I think KD"s biggest issue is ironically his biggest asset. Scoring. That's great for regular season and stuffing box scores. But what makes a player special is being able to effect the game on many levels. Yeah, Wade was always a great scorer but his defense was what made me love him as a player. Lebron same thing, but the defense/passing is what just makes your jaw drop.

I think the MVP will be as much a blessing for KD as a curse. I believe this year the babying ends. If they get swept by the Spurs without putting up a real fight, Ibaka's absence will not suffice as an excuse. I also think Westbrook is going to start having second thoughts about KD/OKC. If they flame out this year, drama could ensue and that golden polish KD has on his image may start to wear off.

So let me get this straight.. Lebron plays for the heat, and I'm a heat fan.. But I'm getting called a lebron fan because I want the best player in the world to be universally agreed upon that he plays for miami rather than okc? Interesting.

I'm strange because I'm rooting for a heat rival to lose and gain some heat? Ahh you must be one of those posters who try and bash on heat fans and don't realize the fail in your post.

Just wondering, where were you during the heat-Knicks days when heat fans hated on Allan Houston and Ewing? Were we lebron fans then as well?
The only person "strange" is you, for showing up to defend players when that's what sports is all about..

Lol @ you.

I hate when I get into these lengthy discussions I don't really care about but hey, nothing against KD but he isn't immune to criticism. This is a forum and specifically a thread geared at discussing other teams /players. People have to stop complaining because Kd is being discussed, of course he is, he's the MVP.

I'm just really focused on our series, the wcf is just a distraction. Cry babies can fold up and die (not the guy I'm. Replying to tho) lol

Players get criticized deal with it

While I do agree that it's premature for us to talk about the finals.. This is the "around the NBA" thread.. -_- of course we are gonna talk about the ONLY other series going on in the nba.. And that's spurs-okc
