Nothing to be fooled about. Miami beat a good Bulls team on the road missing two starters. Give the team credit.

Bulls were missing two starters as well. Rose got injured in game. Dunleavy is their sf, iirc. Noah is out for the season, hinrich is out with injury. And their backup pg is out too.

They got just as nasty an injury bug as us, if not worse.

Noah has been as useful to them as McRoberts has been to us. I'll take the Rose 1/2 a game as significant for them but missing Dragic and Whiteside has more impact to the HEAT than Dunleavy Jr does to them. Plus Wade put a great performance with two bad shoulders, Green has a bruised knee, Deng has an eye injury and we can go on. These are not excuses at all but do not understate what we've been dealing with over the last week or two. This team IS really banged up and starting to get a bit healthy. They went to Chicago limping a bit, fought a close contest and won it like good teams do. They deserve some credit. Let's see if it translates into more wins as they get healthy moving forward.

It's not really his fault, he's not the man for the job.

Green struggling is a blow too, but he's a vet minimum player for a reason, not fair to hate on him.

Ryan Anderson is looking better every day. It's getting to the point where I think it might be worth it to play him at SF, despite not having any reason to believe he can defend SFs. He'll knock down so many 3's with Wade Dragon Bosh Whiteside around him.

Or hope Batum has a great shooting year.

I don't trust Batum as a shooter. He's shooting 35% this year, 32% last year, and 36% the year before.

We don't run an offense that encourages 3pt shooters to flourish like Portland does. If he came here I feel like he'd just be high volume Deng.

Dudley would be a great addition though. We still have a second round pick (31-40 in 2017, unprotected in 2018). He can hit a 3 and is a good defender.

Deng was a 14pts 5rebs guy on 56TS% last season, we didn't appreciate that because he was essentially replacing LBJ.

This season though he has really dropped off. 9.9pts 4.6rebs on 52TS%.

Dudlyis pretty scrubish except for his shooting, but Deng is getting scrubbier each day that passes.

We have to to try and find an upgrade. It's easily our biggest weakness.

One thing to consider, the 3 teams below that league average line of wide open 3 point % that are contenders or close to it, Cleveland, OKC and Atlanta. Cleveland and OKC have easily better talent at the top end (LeBron, Westbrook/KD), and Atlanta makes up for it by getting a ton of wide open looks (and Korver's had a very down year, though it might be he's finally declining).

We do not have superstar talent, well we do but they are past the age that they could carry to that degree, and we don't generate Atlanta's level of wide open looks (or have a Korver that could get hot to count on). I really wish Deng could hit open 3's, would make this all so much easier, or Winslow, though Justice has been good last few games and there is definite hope for improvement there.

I'm not too excited w/ our last 2 wins at all. Props for the win though.....but Wade & Bosh taking over doesn't exactly answer anything about our team issues. Have we all of a sudden addressed our motivation issues? are we no longer going to lay down when teams come back at us? have we all of a sudden found our grit and fight? Has Spo all of a sudden found a way to inspire the team? Is Wade suddenly going to trust his team mates? e

We'll see how this translates when both Dragic & Whiteside is back on the roster. But as i see it if none of the above changes we will continue to show the exact inconsistencies we've shown throughout the season. Wade going nuts doesn't answer anything apart from knowing dude still has it. But in regards to the team? i'm not sure anything changes.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Not really sold on Batum either, he's kind of the it pick right now but with the market looking the way it's looking... we don't really have much of a choice... given that he'd even be considering us for less than max.

His jumper's kind of questionable and although he makes smart plays/passes, he doesn't really create much on his own or for others. He's basically SF Dragic, except with even less efficient scoring and creating because he can't consistently get to the rim. Could be a good thing and a bad thing, because of course, he's maybe a better fit/player than Deng but I'm not sure how great of a fit he'd be with our bunch that's expiring. If we sign one more player to near max (which we likely will to fill the void at SF and compete), we're going to be locked in with our starting 5 financially and going to be in a bit of a mess if it doesn't work out by then

sux, cause we really have the base for a really good team... just missing a few pieces. Ironically with nothing to give

Man he's skinny. When LBJ was here Wade really bulked up but he's shed a lot of that off.

Criminal Winslow is not on rising stars team. One of the good defenders in the league should be enough. Contributes to a winning team.
