He'd be a handy backup PG to wreak havoc defensively.

That’s who you need to be looking at with your prior deal, the Jazz. PJW unfortunately doesn’t save us money next year which is why we’d be trading Duncan. Utah and Brooklyn have the expirings we need and good defensive minded PGs, those are 2 very high level POA defenders

Wouldn't we have time to get under the tax next year with subsequent deals?

Our cap sheet is cooked. Need to move some guys.

That Reaves contract really is cheap af. Damn Lakers.

I'll take him, Gabe and Taurean Prince off their hands for Herro and Caleb.

Rozier / Gabe
Duncan / Reaves
Butler / Jaquez
Prince / Highsmith
Adebayo / Love

Russell / Christie
Herro / Reddish
James / Martin
Hachimura / Vanderbilt
Davis / Wood

Depends who Duncan or Herro are moved for I’d say, straight up expirings and we’re good I think

Considering fit, salary, and length of contract - I'd move Herro before I move Duncan. (don't mind moving both if possible).

You swap Herro for a good 2 way PF and this team gets to a higher tier immediately.

25.6ppg, 5.8rpg, 4.5apg, 0.2bpg, 1.2spg, 2.8tpg, 36.5mpg on 46.1%fg (9.5/20.7), 41.8% 3fg (3.5/8.5) and 88.6%ft (3.0/3.4).

Since then....

January (15 games):
18.4ppg, 5.3rpg, 4.1apg on 40.2%fg (6.8/16.9), 39.2% 3fg (3.4/8.7) and 77.8%ft (1.4/1.8).

February started poor in the first game with 15/4/5 on 6/19, 3/8 threes and no free throws.

Whole team struggled in January, but his play was a major reason.

I think it might be Jimmy taking back his team. As Tyler said, he is "sacrificing" his game...

If I could pick, I'd call the Bulls to see if we can get Vucevic. Or Orlando to get WCJ.

When did WCJ become such a sniper from 3? At first I thought he was a bad fit with Bam but in reality he's a great fit, I think the Magic would be dumb to move him consider how few threats they have from 3.

I do wonder if the Spurs would have interest in a Herro/Jovic/Bryant package for Zac Collins/Jones/Mcdermot and maybe some 1st round pick? The Heat get a starting level PF/C a back up PG and a plug and play SF/SG/undersized PF. Name/value wise not the best trade but fit wise probably a solid one and McDermot is a expiring 13 mil. Zac Collins would be the prize in the deal.

Hero not taking as many shots as he was in October and think that was when Jimmy Butler was out too so had to shoot more and Rozier has eaten into some of heros shots. Big difference from Lowry who had 0 points games only taking 2-3 shots.

In my opinion, the Magic might have way too many Bigs, so an exchange for a scorer, my help them improve.

For us, I believe WCJ can help us.

Idea 1:

Magic Out
WCJ
Joe Ingles

Heat Out
Tyler Hierro
Dru Smith

Idea 2:
Bulls Out
Vucevic
Caruso

Heat Out
Hierro

Thank god his shots went down, he’s at 39% shooting and 18 PPG on 17 shots a night since January 1st, that is disgusting.
