Did they play him any 4? His jumpshot looks a lot better in those highlights, hope Ximo Pierto's got my back

Yes they play him at four (not stretch 4) that's when he seem more comfortable and aggressive offensively.

Really? Wasn't that tall dude , #61, the one you're talking about? Seems he came in with Bam at the end of the 3rd, after Bam went on the 3rd quarter surge

Did he play the 4 outside of that stretch, need to boxcheck

Can't believe they gave away Macgurbert's number to some scrub :nonono:

Pretty much what I expected. Good shooting form, athletic, can switch p'n'r(altough he had several mistakes). Looks like athletic version of Taj.

Hopefully we can develop him into something promising.

I've wanted him off the roster and on the coaching staff for the past couple of years. I know he's on the roster to be a mentor, but I think we would be better served opening up a roster spot to try find another diamond in the rough and have him move into a coaching spot.

As long as that FBoy Odum isn't on the court we should have a better game tomorrow

Even on the Orlando Magic board, I was hearing that Bam did well yesterday in 1st summer league and looks legit.

We have concerns right about Isaac offensive game, But Isaac is great at like everything on defense. We are happy to have Iwundu and with Derrick Walton we either want to add Walton to our 15 man roster guaranteed contract or give Walton one of those 2 way contracts. Walton needs to continue to play good just not 1 summer league but if Walton finishes the summer league good, we should give Walton a contract.

I went through every page on this thread. I felt like I wanted to cry at times when reading certain stuff. We get Isaac and Iwundu and nothing has reached my heart on the Magic board. Everything seems to be more positive on this board than the Magic board. Even if we got Bam instead of the Heat, I probably wouldn't feel as emotional on the Magic board than from what I felt on here.

nymets, I'm a HUGE fan of Walton. I thought he would've been a perfect fit behind Dragic

Would love to see Bam develop into Rasheed Wallace...

• Long and athletic
• Rugged defender
• Beast in the post
• Finished above the rim with violent intentions
• Nasty back to the basket game
• Turnaround jumper
• Face up game
• Three-point range
• Could handle the ball

...don't sleep on how good Sheed was.

Sheed was 6'11 with stoopid length and seemingly limitless range. Bam looks more like Dwight Howard.

I remember how that Pistons team just took off once Sheed got there. His all around game fit in so well.

SL doesn't prove much, but Bam's bball traits look like they'll fit in very well with our team.

TBH, I wrote him off as a draftee due to the complete lack of proof on his jumper. If he shows consistency with the fluid jumper he's shown so far, then I think he'll be a lot better than many of us expected by a large margin.

Sheed had tremendous length and added that shooting range to his game. *Bam has great length and, at age 19, has already shown the ability to step out and hit shots. No reason that shouldn't continue to evolve.

Dwight never acquired the skills to shoot or face up or handle or... well, you get the point.

Not bad, didn't shoot so well but displayed some nice footwork I believe he's been working on. Ran hard, defense wasn't really there but he tried to contest
