Yeah I don’t know what Riley is doing, bro.

We pull off this deal, secretly tank rest of the year and hope for Wemby or Scoot. And then we are right back in contention for the ship.

It sure sounds nice.

If you tell me we could trade Butler for Bridges and Weby/Scoot, I'd be all over it.

I love the draft and it's my biggest criticism of our org. We have snubbed our noses at it for decades. In my eyes it's as realistic as trying to dump some rings on a table for every free agent out there.

Bridges for example. We traded our pick that year which was ultimately used to acquire Bridges. Would be nice to have that one back.

I agree DoM. But I guess it’s the price to pay for having Riley at the helm.

Getting Bridges would be good, but I’d not touch Crowder, and use the idea that he and Jimmy are tight as part of the sweetener for the Suns. It’s a possibility that with Jimmy onboard Jae walks back his rhetoric - new ownership, friend from college, new player leadership
That would mean trying to get Saric as the contract ballast, and hope they take the $7m hit in extra tax. With that level of savings we’d have little chance of getting a pick, but there’s no harm in asking

The thing about tanking for Wemby/Scoot is that after this run we’re 6.5 games out from bottom 4, and between us and that spot is Magic, Lakers, Thunder, Utah and Raptors who all have varying degrees of potential for sucking naturally and/or tanking. We’re now better aiming for playing 7-3 ball the rest of the way and finishing as a 50-win team.

That's a good alternate option. Saric helps at the 4 too as a body.

If we jettison Butler for future pieces, then I think we're in bottom 7ish territory. Our roster is too injured and unbalanced.

However, I can completely see adding a couple pieces and getting some players healthy as well. It's a good option when nobody is that good this year. We could steal a chip for real.

Sitting here trying to think of what our starting lineup is going to be to open next season after we trade for LeBron this summer:

Gabe
Herro
Jimmy
LeBron
Bam

Lowry
Strus
Jimmy
LeBron
Bam

LeBron
Strus
Jimmy
AD
Bam

Kyrie
Strus
Jimmy
LeBron
Bam

Possibilities are endless and y’all think it’s a joke. Watch Pat throw all the chips on the table for a 4th star to solidify a championship in LeBrons 2nd tenure :o

We’ve got a better chance of getting Trae than Haliburton.

Myles Turner or Bogdan, those are the 2 best available bigs.

Each bring a different skillets we desperately need, if we're serious about contending we need to get one of them

Seems like Myles is having several great scoring games recently. Indy trying to pump value or just a coincidence?

He’s in the middle of contract negotiations with Pacers. He’s pumping up his own value probably asking the Pacers for Ayton’s deal.

Bogdonovic is going to the highest bidder and doubt it’s us. Pistons love him and he’s happy there after they rewarded him with extension. Vucevic is a realistic target with his expiring and age will allow us to offer him a cheap extension in offseason. Turner is playing his way into a big contract.

Makes no sense - horrible assets management.

you're using all our future assets and sweeteners for a pure salary dump which leaves us no way to get better, no way to use cap space, and nets us no impactful players going forward

Phoenix is desperate right now. We would have the hand in a deal between the two teams. So they would need to overpay.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

They have the same record as us. How would they be desperate? If that is considered desperate that does that say about us being desperate?

Shouldn’t the primary objective be getting rid of Lowry and Robinsons contracts while also making a competitive win now move? Not sure what the negative reaction is all about

Fellas we don’t argue about any trade suggestions unless they involve moving Bam, it’s the fantasy thread for a reason!!

Our best player isn't projected to be out for the next month.

Heat are trending upward with guys getting healthy. Suns are trying to stay in the playoff race while being like 2-6 with Booker out. And he’s out for a few more weeks at least.

Reduce it by 1 first rounder or take out Jovic then?
