Thank you goddess that Tyler was not playing because he could get us killed on the defense sides of the floor. If I was the opposite coach, I will tell my best offense play to go right at Tyler and I guarantee that heat would’ve lost if Tyler were playing. Tyler really needed to come off the bench, his game just not winnable with the starter unless he’s making his shots.

Just get back to the same formula as last year and let Tyler wreak havoc on opposing bench players.

Defense is badly needed and Max can provide that.

Yeap, both ways you gotta let atleast let a dozen or so more games be behind us before you can really gage were we are headed. The GSW have been playing like azz the last 3 games we could go and lose the next three and everyone and their mother here is hyper ventilating again.

Lots of overreaction here. Herro playing the same minutes as last season. Starting just means he's in the game about 5 minutes earlier. He was still closing games with us. To say if Herro was playing we definitely lose isn't the best take.

So easy to throw stones at Herro. Some of you are trying so hard to find a scape goat. We probably win this game with him too. This team still has the same problems with or without Herro. Just wait till Duncan goes 2 for 12 again.

We had to fight, grind, claw, and get some home cooking to get this W. Closing lineup of Bam, Butler, Strus, Vincent, and Lowry are not going to maintain very many winning streaks.

Its not a season saving win...too early for that...but it is a confidence boosting win. They went toe to toe with the reigning champs while they were in a season starting slump and came out with a big win.

Bam needs to look at his aggression tonight and channel it into every game. Somehow he still only had 19 points, but he played an overall great game.

Kyle had a nice game. He was controlling the pace and getting guys in spots to succeed. I might be wrong, but I would guess that he hasn't had a nine assist game in a while.

I truly hope this was a turning point for Duncan. I thought he would have a great bounce back season, which hasn't happened yet, but this could jump start it. I don't know what happened to Tyler because I missed the 1st quarter, but if he can't go tomorrow, give Duncan the start and see if he could jump start the offense with a few threes like the old days. Conventional wisdom says start Max, but Max has been more ignitable off the bench and we will need at least some points off the bench.

I love the win, but I honestly would have been ok with the loss, if it was a turning point game. We shall see.

Also, people on this board are way too hard on Herro. I still don't understand considering he is a 4th year, 23 year old player, nowhere near his prime who already won 6th man of the year. I could understand the defense criticism, but this board is brutal towards him.

I like McStrus but he’s about to get McPaid.

Mia has proven to be more than capable of shouting and developing streak shooters.

Cats stepped up when we needed - the same strength we shown last season. To say we won because a certain player didn't play is complete assumption after 1 game. Let's try to go through the season w/out our top 2 scorer & see how things pan out.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

To be fair to Max, he's more than just a streak shooter. He's not a one trick pony.

But yes, we have a good track record in finding floor spacers in general - be it off the undrafted scrap heap, or journeyman vets ala Golden Cok Wayne Ellington.

Herro said he’s fine and most likely plays tomorrow. Said he could have played in the 4th cause the blurriness in his eye cleared up but was already ruled out.

Nahhh c'mon man.

Herro wasn't out there during the turd quarter when we shat the bed. It's too easy to say Tyler's the reason we've started poorly this year.

What saved our season was we actually decided to guard up and get some stops in the 4th, and our shooters made shots.

I’m joking lol

Spo looks so thirsty to get back to doing Duncan DHO’s as the offensive staple. Be careful what you wish for

Definitely not season saving, this team sucks and we’re not maximizing certain players ability. There’s 0 hope until moves are made, that’s just the simple fact
