Its time to move on from Smith. Gotta let either Christopher or Larsson play point. Smith has no lift or strength in his foot.

I think we just need to make a move for a PG and stop playing guys out of position.

We are basically the Hornets 2.0 with Rozier cosplaying Rozier and Herro cosplaying Lamelo

its gonna be a looong season unless jimmy is traded for a better player which i doubt it will happen. this team is poorly constructed as is.

FO is either blind or this is the best that they could do for some reason

If Jimmy plays aggressive from the jump we probably win this game.
but he didnt that's the point

He's not playing aggressively on purpose, he's able to do alley oops and putback dunks so there's not that regression physically holding him back, it's Butler holding himself back.

I am not discourage by this game. They can play a lot better. Spo has to have plays set for Bam and Butler. Spo looked like he just watch them fight over shots.

He'll play better and with more force next game because he's gonna go home tonight and read all the comments from media laying into his ass, book it.

Sadly, I think this is what Spoelstra wants, Lowry was in Miami but he didn't shoot enough and got benched, the guys Spoelstra's used at PG have been combo guards who looked to shoot, Nunn, Vincent and now Rozier.

It's so easy to keep putting the blame on Bam when for years since Tucker left I've been begging to get him some help in the front court. He has to pull too much weight to carry these group of scrubs who just either want to chuck shots and barely play any defense or just can't. Having Jovic as the starting PF is not the answer and neither is playing any undersized player we have. Jaime Jaquez has struggled at the 4 when he should be playing a cut to the basket style of game from the 3 spot.

Not really Butler and Jaquez are doing fine running point. They need to put an off ball player who can defend with that unit.

It should be
Jaquez
Larsson/Christopher
Butler
Robinson
Bryant

Larsson is not ready...AT ALL. Defense is alien to him. Neither is Ware. Smith should be in the g-league. Christopher is another G-Leaguer...but his is better than Smith. The problem is the roster, of course. Riley is and has been done for quite a while. Without DWade to convince his friends to come play here...there is no Pat Riley Court.

Let's face it...this is a squad who's best win this season will be the summer league championship.

You cannot have a scheme for midrange jumpers in 2024. What do you think would have been different if you had brought in Dame? Honest question

Jovic is fine. They just need another physical player who can set hard screens and shoot. To many players trying to be scorers. They need to have players who help the scorer get open.

He’s barely involved, his usage is at a career low as a starter in assuming the shot attempts match that as well. We have froze out our 2 best players offensively anyone with eyes can see it but we have agendas to push. Actively got him involved the 1st 4 plays of the 3rd and he scores on 3 of them, don’t try again the rest of the game.

Somewhat sure, but Butler is actively not being aggressive. The end of the 3rd quarter should have told you that. I think Butler will be moved soon because of his play which is because of no extension. Riley saying what he said at the end of last year, trying to play while injured in the play-in and then no extension... it's better for everyone to get Butler out of Miami.

whatever they did on defense...ain't it.... when you can't tell the difference between Bam-Butler and Tyler-Duncan on defense...you got a real problem...

It is easy because he plays at an average level and thinks himself a superstar. He is dominated by even above average big men and still thinks he is "snubbed" for DPOY. LOL! Now, with these ridiculous 3s, he is effectively just turning the ball over. While he has some cache left, he should be traded. But Riley will never do that.

Nah I disagree. Ware would make a difference. His height and length alone would allow bam to do things we havent seen in a long time.
