Seriously though, for those who think this is the worst thing ever, I promise you losing on an Allan Houston runner and then a Clarence Weatherspoon brick back to back years, followed by the heart and soul of your team who just had a runner up MVP season going down to kidney disease, followed by getting completely waxed in the playoffs by an utterly mediocre Hornets squad led by two of your former players (Mash/P.J.) and B-diddy, felt worse. That was an absolute gut punch, going from thinking you're so close to breaking through only to have it all taken away and get crushed.
This is more like coming back to reality, realizing conditioning isn't enough in the playoffs if the talent ain't there. Embarrassing, but certainly not entirely unexpected.
EDIT: Imagine if we traded Jimmy to the Cavs, and we were a top 3 seed in the conference and the Cavs were considered big underdogs, and Jimmy and the Cavs kicked our ass. THAT was what happened in 2001. It was so much worse I promise you.
