Dragic can shoot.

J Rich can shoot.

Aldridge can hit mid ranges very well.

Whats the confusion?

Aldridge is not Bosh. He's not splashing 17fters23fters in space. He needs the ball to be effective and does most of his work posting up. It's one of the reasons why he had a hard time on the Spurs this season.

But lets call him a shooter. You can't have ONE shooter in an entire frontcourt of 3 men. That's awful. Teams would just play a zone defense against us. The type of big man Dragic excels with are the Ryan Andersons and Channing Fryes of the league. Real stretch 4s with quick triggers.

Edit for stulidity...smh.

Dragic needs a ball in his hands, cuz no one can't consistently create in that line up outside of him. And I don't think that Dragic's pull up 3 is a good shot.

JRich is a streaky shooter.

Aldridge is an average mid range shooter.

What does that have to do with Dragic not being able to shoot lol, he shot 40% from 3 last season.

Doesn't mean they are gonna leave J Rich open though.

Alridge is not an average mid range shooter lmao, probably one of the best in the league.

Most of Dragic shots would be pull ups

42.2% from 16ft to 25ft, lmao. Wade's 3 is a more efficient shot

We're gonna waive McRoberts and he'll win a title with the Cavs next season.

Still has nothing to do with him being a great shooter now lmao.

You realize mid range is the hardest shot in the NBA right lol?

Even Wade shoots in the 40%'s and he's a good mid range shooter too lmao.

Big NO to Aldridge.

It's time to go younger, faster, more versatile.

Not old, slow footed guys that can't hit 3's.

I'd throw anything not named Dragon/Whiteside at Indy and try to get PG3. he's the piece that changes everything. Good chance he stays long term too IMO.

That's nice if younger and faster is available

I agree with getting younger and faster but I think I would take LA for TJ, #14 and filler...

I was looking at your post wondering what you're talking about. I meant 23 feet, the 3pt line. SMFH realgm mobile site is pure ass.

But to my point, Aldridge shrinks the floor because his effective range is limited. It's not about having 4 shooters. You don't want all your snipers just in the backcourt (pg and sg)

I don't think that's what he means by inefficiency. 33.3% shooting from the 3 point line is equivalent to 50% shooting from 2. That's why it's inefficient and why Aldridge is suffering in San Antonio.
