Aldridge is not Bosh. He's not splashing 17fters23fters in space. He needs the ball to be effective and does most of his work posting up. It's one of the reasons why he had a hard time on the Spurs this season.

But lets call him a shooter. You can't have ONE shooter in an entire frontcourt of 3 men. That's awful. Teams would just play a zone defense against us. The type of big man Dragic excels with are the Ryan Andersons and Channing Fryes of the league. Real stretch 4s with quick triggers.

But to my point, Aldridge shrinks the floor because his effective range is limited. It's not about having 4 shooters. You don't want all your snipers just in the backcourt (pg and sg)

I don't think that's what he means by inefficiency. 33.3% shooting from the 3 point line is equivalent to 50% shooting from 2. That's why it's inefficient and why Aldridge is suffering in San Antonio.
