Mikal and Robert - DPOY
I’m guessing this is what you’re saying. I mean no one is even close to being in the discussion to Herro for 6MOY. Bam is the best defender in the world but both of those guys are very good too. Suns have a better record than us but we have a better defense. Celtics a worse record but better defense (although they don’t have someone on the court at all times that is targeted like a Duncan or Herro). DPOY and COY could go either way, I think Monty get COY. If Bam didn’t get injured I think he runs away with DPOY. Both should worst case be finalist.
Booker and/or CP3 being overlooked for MVP although I agree it should be Embiid or Jokic. Just funny to me how the narrative on voting changes damn near every year

It’s not being scared it’s wanting to set our team up with the best possible route for success. We don’t want to go through the damn gauntlet to get to the finals and be gassed or injured from 3 super tough playoff series in the East. We can beat literally anyone, I’m not worried about that but I’d for damn sure love a sweep or 5 game series while we get some rest while our opponent is grinding their dick in the dirt in another series. That’s just smart strategy

We’ve shown to have great depth but if you go into a finals series against the grizzlies warriors or suns at full health with Jimmy or Bam injured youre Done for.
