There are a lot of talented players on this roster but not all of them fit perfectly quite yet.

VO looked gassed, but that unit did stabilize a bit when Jovic came in.

If they insist on playing Duncan, they should just spam Jovic and Duncan off the bench.

I think Spo showed you what he’s going with for the starting lineup tonight. He’s rolling with Martin out the gate. Yurtseven most likely is the backup big and will only be played with Bam depending on matchups.

You are probably right. I don't trust Spo to play big. But Martin brings nothing to the offense with the starters. He will be left open and I don't think he can thrive as primarily a spot up shooter every night. Defense will sag off him.

Oladipo was talked about as being similar to a completely new player acquisition, with him having a full offseason healthy. That is the role he’s supposed to fill.

This is what I would do if Heat keeps Jovic on active roster. Highsmith may have opened up mins for Jovic. Jovic clearly beat out Highsmith. Have a 9 man rotation. Rotate games with two shooter tandems. Strus and Vincent as one pair and Duncan and Jovic another pair.

A series of games play
Oladipo
Vincent
Strus
Martin
Adebayo

Then sit Vincent and Strus a series of games and play
Oladipo
Martin
Duncan
Jovic
Adebayo

Hope for Crowder to be release and give him Highsmith spot

Iv been warning you. Dipo is a different type of player. At this stage of his career he primarily a Pick n Roll point guard. And he never been a bench energy guy. He is not a young fire cracker player. He is going to be more cerebral and gonna want to share the ball, he gonna use a lot of energy on his defense. They need to find a unit that works to Dipo strength as a point. He plays well with other scoring bigs usually. I actually think he fits next to Herro perfectly. I don't think he is a shooting guard any longer.

I don't think Spo is comfortable reinventing much. The Y/B lineup is a changeup look, probably.

With Jovic emerging I can see Yurtseven being moved.
