Hopefully Mia finds upgrades for both guys.

Vincent though is the answer to the question

Vincent is so undersized tired of playing migdet guards as combo guards next to another small PG. We need legthn and size and athletism, where are the 6'5 Combo Guards with 38"+ vert, and 7'0" wingspan, incredible handles????? Where we just need to nurture their shooting.

Agreed.

My biggest issue with him, though, isnt defensively.

As small as Gabe is, he's more capable than Herro is on that side of the ball.

Problem for me is his streakiness as a shooter/scorer and his inadequacies as a proper handler.

He's relied upon to play-make way more than he should be based on his limitations.

Need get a proper handler to replace him, ideally.

No idea how it gets done but bringing in dame + grant to play alongside Jimmy and bam would be ideal. Need a serviceable center as well

If there’s one thing we’ve agreed on all year it’s that our guard play is abysmal. I’m so tired of getting cooked by guys like Murray and Brunson and not being able to go back at then with someone else on the other end and actually make them work and expose them defensively.

Herro could’ve helped in the denver series but bigger picture if I’m going to pay a guard who can’t defend a lot of money I need a consistent 25 points on high efficiency with 8 assists. That’s the floor for me. Gabe is fine for a backup

Bruh there's a total of 3 players in the league that averaged 25 with 8 assists - Trae, Luka, and Ja (plus Jokic if you count his 24.5). Might need to lower the standards a bit lol.

Don’t worry, Dame might only average 7.3 assists but I’ll let it slide since he averages 32 points :)

We’re still in the thick of it, draft next week then summer league right after, FA starting July 1st I believe. A lot is going to happen in the next few weeks.

We’ll see just how much Jovic improved this season during summer league

Bring Goran back to sit in the Udonis Haslem seat.

“We were in talks with Dallas. They made an offer but I decided not to take it,” Dragic told Vecer in Slovenian. “They wanted me to play one game and then sit for the next five. I know I can still easily play 20 minutes per game. I’m not ready to retire and just sit on the bench in a cheerleading role.”

This was a year ago, I doubt much has changed.

This was my concern with a potential Kyrie deal. For us to do a S&T we wouldn't be able to have salaries over 169mil. Currently we are at 178mil if we renounce all our FAs.

Oladipo would need to decline his PO for us to even do a S&T. Then if we traded Herro, Lowry and our 2023 pick for Kyrie we'd then have 7 players signed and only be able to sign Vet Min players and 2-ways for the final 8 players.

Yes and to start the Luka connection. Bring him in the coaching staff when he retires too.

Wouldn’t mind love back as well as an on and off rotation guy over the course of the year. Liked his leadership more than his play for sure

Bring him in for the Kyle Lowry role then. I'll take Gogi for 15-20 mins a night backing up whoever at the 1.

This was 11 days ago. Go to 9min mark. Basically he can be a vet to support young players and be a strong voice. Can give 10 mins a game if needed. He is ready for the UD role. He lives in Miami and loves the team (was at the games against Boston).

Things change. He's moved around and got cut. He has different perspective now. Just like Wade was insulted by the Heat's offer only to end up signing with Miami for vet min when he returned.

Are you guys serious with the Kyrie stuff? Prime LeBron was the only person that could kinda keep him reeled in. I could see Jimmy getting real tired of his bull with a quickness.

He’s boy with Jimmy and Bam, they’d make it work. Or do we not trust the Heat Culture we’ve built and the overall impact it has? Kyrie knows what he’s getting himself in to if he comes here.

They said the same stuff about Jimmy

If he's cool signing for the minimum and not playing most nights I don't have a problem with it.

How about Westbrook? Always liked him. Wouldn't mind seeing him in a Heat jersey.
