Didn’t the Lakers send a 1st out with Westbrook when they filled out their roster?

Jazz sent Vanderbilt, Beasley (a large expire contract), two 2nd round picks for Westbrook and a 1st. Jazz didn't need the cap relief and really didn't gain cap relief. And Heat doesn't need depth. Just a player that can contribute.

Yea we’ll be using a 1st

Wolves would be a good look for Harden, if they weren’t harboring that awful Rudy contract

Harden is a wild boy for making his intentions known ahead of time. At least Jimmy kept his nipple cutouts a surprise.

Didn't remember that Thomas Bryant tore his ACL against Miami.

Also, here's Thomas Bryant getting 21 against Miami with Bam playing this year when he was with the Lakers.

Speaking of performances against the Heat, here’s Harden dropping a cool 58 against Miami.

58 points doesn’t even crack the Top 5 scoring games in Harden’s career. :o

I dont want the same issues he is giving Philly to happen here.

Who’s to say anyone will give him the deal he wants though? Eventually he will have to cave and hope that someone gives him a sizable deal after next year. In the meantime though he wants out of Philly at all costs and Heat may just be able to swoop in and get him for next to nothing

I wouldn't be against it if I knew he would try here without a new deal. A motivated Harden is a great player. He is more likely to show up fat, not play defense, miss half the year and publicly whine.

A Harden/Lowry trade would have to be the thickest trade ever, no?

Surprised there’s not more footage and reports after day 1 of camp, particularly as players have mentioned there was a lot of ‘live’ play.

I wanna hear about how guys went dammit

This is cool to see. I was wanting to see some Jaquez highlights. He’s a good size, crafty, he should be able to do some damage in the post.

Happy to see Lowry contributing in a positive way instead of moping.

Good to see Lowery engaged and being helpful.

Side note his face looks lean in that photo....his clothes are so baggy hard to get a read on his condition, but his face does look lean.

Seems like they don't wanna leak the 5v5 scrimmage and who was the starting lineup. We'll definitely know a week from now.

Probably true. Heat have to ask themselves if the risk is worth the reward.

I mean if your going to be part of a local media network, I would be careful how you talk to the players your essentially making a living off from your podcast.

Yeah, that's why Tobin and Leroy are somewhat in a good relationship with Heat players. They don't go this low.
