As it sounds like its becoming more likely that Mitchell is gonna take the huge contract offer from the Cavs. I think the Heat should focus on acquiring all three of P. George, G. Hayward and Olynyk to build switchable size front court to help and compliment Bam.

Only Hayward seems realistic out of this list. Need an elaborate max S&T for George since we have no cap space and Olynyk recently signed extension with the Raps and they love that he’s a Canadien playing in his home country.

Certianly the Heat would have to make moves. The Heat have enough assests to make moves to make this happen. PG is not expensive. He is a free agent, thus a sign and trade wouldnt cost much. The same with Hayward and KO.

Unpopular opinion, but this would be a disaster for whatever team that gives him that contract. He's a great 3&D player but his value has skyrocketed by playing next to Lebron / AD, and then Jokic / Murray.


KCP at 20m would be equivalent to the Duncan deal that we have going on for us in terms of 'yikeness'.

I wanted in on Collins last year when seemingly nobody else wanted him, but looking at the present construction of the team I just dont see how he makes any sense. At 26 mil he becomes (presumably) the third highest player on the team, and we further exasperate the current problem which is a maxed out core where we cant generate enough scoring from the guys at the top.

Good old Danny is running the show in Utah. We need to remember that. Terry value currently is at a net negative compared to when we traded for him. A good offseason and Terry bring committed to playing defense could change that but right now no one would offer what we paid for him. Going big Whale hunting Lowry and his expiring hold more value than Terry unfortunately.

Lowry is a free agent. Philly can't trade him as he has no outstanding contract. Lowry was bought out and provides roughly $2.8M in cap relief for Philly now.
