Herro confirming what we all see over and over. They come out of halftime either expecting to just sleepwalk to a win or don't care if they win or not. It's shameful and embarrassing.

The third quarter has been an issue since Spo became the coach.

Agreed...dude sucks at in-game adjustments and obviously can't seem to get them to come out of halftime prepared and motivated.

Cant even compete in 3rd quarters
Can’t make free throws anymore
Can’t get foul calls
Don’t run through our best players
Don’t make defensive adjustments on plays where we need 1 stop to win

This team is COOKED

Terrible rotation again. JRich hasn't been an NBA lvl rotation player for years. There's plenty of other options. Same goes for HH. Just play Burks, Rob and Pelle and it's an easy 10 point win ffs.

Rozier can come of the bench. Momentum killer if I've ever seen one.

The bench wasn’t the issue

JRich 3 TOs 0/4 shooting in 21 minutes off the bench.
Duncan only got 13, although he went 3/3 on 3s.

JRich, Burks, HH contributed 0/9 as a collective, so yeah some of the bench sucked.

I think the first change should be starting Larsson instead of Rozier. Yes i'm that confident in Larsson. He is a plus defender and a good shooter, has size and strenght. He is exactly who you want at guard next to Herro.'

Keep Jovic for now and see if this change makes it better. If not we move Jovic to the bench aswell.

Rozier/Herro/Jovic together clearly doesnt work.

I think this game had a lot of positivies still. I'm not that low on the team. We just need to find a good rotation. Highsmith needs to wake up or we need to bring in Keshad. We need that plus defender at the 4.

you are right!! nothing is gonna be different This or next couple of seasons unless we get A couple of Young Stars or a legit superstar here that can play along with bam and herro

I'm just saying it wasn't a bad game given what we have as a team

spo It's a dummy sometimes, but he's a lot better than the average!
jb Hasn't lost all his trade value, He is just a 70%.
Plus we have a couple of young guys who can develop to be More than OK players

Take it easy. This game was competitive and exciting. We had a couple of nice, nice quarters And a Very disappointed ending, but it's still the beginning of the season.

So very confused what Spo was trying to accomplish last night. He played 12 different lineups in the first half alone. 11 man rotation, he never does this.

Nah. It's a talent issue. Its the same as last year. They have a poor offense. They can't sustain a good offense for 4 quarters. The problem they dont get easy buckets. Last year they were one of the worst teams at getting to the rim and finishing at the rim. So when you are primarily a jump shooting team, when the jump shots don't fall you're going to struggle. This is usually what has happened so far. For most games Herro or Rozier gets hot in 1st half. After the break they cool off and the offense goes off the rails. It's just Jimmy who can force the issue and get to the rim and get foul shots. So if Jimmy isn't interested then its jump shots or bust.

That's the main problem they need to solve with the offense. Getting easy shots. Back when we had Dragic, we had a 2nd guy who could get paint buckets. Dragic was great in the fast break. He was nifty and crafty and could manuever to get some rim buckets. Rozier was supposed to fill the Dragic role. But he's Waiters on steroids. Bad shots, over dribbling and he is as bad of a finisher as Herro.

Spo hasn't fixed last season biggest issue and I don't know if he can without a trade or Bam making a jump on offense

It’s starting to become clear that Bam isn’t going to be able to make a jump offensively this season despite being more polished because the hierarchy is just all out of whack. Force fed him the ball and ran actions for him against the wizards and the game was never in doubt, very next game against a mediocre defender/foul prone player in Sabonis and we do none of that. He was getting his shots off offensive rebounds, and towards the end of the shot clock if he was thrown the ball. This team can’t make up its fuxking mind on what it wants to do or what it wants to be.

It’s like we’re treating this team as if we have a big 4, 4 all stars and max players or however you want to put it. No, run through your stars. Everything else needs to be secondary. Herro has shown early he’s capable of being effective playing off ball, in fact he’s looked best when he’s off ball knocking down shots in the flow of the offense. Now it’s time to have Terry do the same. Dribble with a purpose or swing the damn ball

Larsson had probably his best game. He moved well with and without the ball. It's not his the rest of the team played lazy. Jrich played some painful minutes. If he can't put pressure on teams offensively or defensively then there is no reason to give him minutes. If rather a Marcus smart mentality that will put it up or make an effort on both ends even if he is not great at it. Heat can't get stops nothing is new. I do like the increased pace but players need to make the most of their minutes than they have been. Herro has been nice to start the season, there I jinxed it. I like the deep rotation but less jrich or anyone that clearly isn't on. More rozier not less. Fox game has matured a lot, would like rozier to play like that.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Rozier/Herro/Jovic together clearly doesnt work.

I think this game had a lot of positivies still. I'm not that low on the team. We just need to find a good rotation. Highsmith needs to wake up or we need to bring in Keshad. We need that plus defender at the 4.

I see some in here saying the difference between Towns and Sabonis from Bam is their aggression. That is not mostly true. The difference is Towns and Sabonis have a point guard and a system that makes the point and center the main part of the offense.

Spo has been very proactive about having a positionless offense, meaning everyone role are damn near equal. That means there is not a one player or play emphasis, its similar philosophy to the princeton offense.
