I'd do it.. they're 2 2nd rounders. probably our 2nd rounder next year and the bobcat's and we have an extra 4 mil. I'd do it.

lol hell no.

Two 2nd rd picks (basically worthless)

And regardless, it sheds us of another 5 mill so that we can either offer Lebron the full max (plus no state income tax, making it the most money besides Cleveland, bar none) or obviously use it to help sign a position of need.

I really don't think Beasley's gonna have a place on this team.

i like the Beasley trade ...

Haslem is just one of our options .. we can sign him to play the same role as last year (which he did a great job of, except for in the playoffs).

Or we can use that money on a PG, SF , C ..

Am sure Wade needed to know Haslem was going to come back. Is not Beasley 2 picks for Haslem.
Is Beasley and 2 picks for Bosh and Haslem and keeping Wade as a Heat player. And maybe even landing Bron.

Look. It'd be great to have Haslem back. If he takes a discount, cool. But no way should we be paying him anything over 5 mil when we have other needs.

I don't think we will. If anything, we won't have 5 mil. But the Beasley trade could really really help with depth, and while I think he's still got good potential, I don't see him fitting in that well on a team with 3 established star players (yeah I know assumptions, so sue me).

As much as I love Beas and have spent time defending the kid, there is absolutely no reason to keep him if we get Lebron. Scoring punch off the bench? Meh he wouldnt be happy and with the holes we have at PG and C neither would I.. If we can get the trio their maxes and have a few ducats left over to address PG and C then I would be so out of my mind ecstatic. Of course, he would have improving trade value throughout the year but it would be pretty obvious we were just keeping him to trade him.

Beasley is way too inconsistent. Some nights decent numbers and others just plain stupid. But he has time on his side to develop so if there is no immeadiate need to ship him off then why do it?

I was actually being generous about the 5 mil. I don't even think that much would be available after we get done adding other roleplayers in/signing LeBron.

Does Orlando still like Haslem? Maybe we can sign and trade him for Gortat?

wallacesports

Go ahead and nix any thoughts of a Bosh-J. O'Neal frontcourt reunion. O'Neal to Boston is almost a done deal. Bank on it

Bye bye JO

I didn't enjoy the JO era much. I actually got more out of the Jamario Moon sideshow.
