Did you hear it from the same people that said we were an elite team last year?

Muhhh WAAAADE

REEEEEEE

What mental gymnastics are we using to explain away the best net rating and record covering 41 games?

Strength of Remaining Schedule.

We improved, no doubt, and I believe we'd at least be a fifth seed if we started the year with chemistry and less Winslow being useless on offense. But we are not THAT good to be labeled elite.

But lets call him a shooter. You can't have ONE shooter in an entire frontcourt of 3 men. That's awful. Teams would just play a zone defense against us. The type of big man Dragic excels with are the Ryan Andersons and Channing Fryes of the league. Real stretch 4s with quick triggers.

So aldridge isn't hitting shots? And since when have you needed 4 shooters on the floor at all times? LMAO what?

I was looking at your post wondering what you're talking about. I meant 23 feet, the 3pt line. SMFH realgm mobile site is pure ass.

But to my point, Aldridge shrinks the floor because his effective range is limited. It's not about having 4 shooters. You don't want all your snipers just in the backcourt (pg and sg)

I was never talking about Aldridge 3pt shot though.

nobody in the NBA shoots over 45% from mid range LMAO

I don't think that's what he means by inefficiency. 33.3% shooting from the 3 point line is equivalent to 50% shooting from 2. That's why it's inefficient and why Aldridge is suffering in San Antonio.

No, he struggle because he was missing and passing up shots around the rim. Not jumpers. Jumpers has never been his problem, its always been his criticism is not playing big around the rim in critical times.

Yeah but I meant the 3pt line in my comparison to Bosh. Instead it looks like I said Aldridge doesn't have a 17ft jumpshot when in reality, his best shot aside from finishing inside is 16ft-out, iirc.

But I wanted to point out why he'd be a bad fit in twix's lineup.

If we are interested in Aldridge why not just go after Ryan Anderson by trading Ellington, McBob and Johnson. Might have to involve a third team. Then you have space to still sign Hayward. If not split it between waiters and Johnson. You add shooters around Whiteside and Dragic. Btw if we trade Ellington and the other team declines his option can't we then just resign him with our 4.3 or 3.3 exception?

He is 70% around the rim. Idk if what we saw in the playoffs against the Warriors is the norm.

The jumpers would be a problem down here though. Think about how much we rely on spacing because we already have a space eater in Whiteside. You added Winslow to that lineup. That leaves a wing and a big practically free to roam on defense. It's not like lma is going to punish you for helping from downtown. It'll just be a 2. Defenses would live with roaming closeout defense against him if it means his shot attempts aren't from deep.

Then there's the defensive side of the ball.

Lol naw, can't sign him until year to date of trade, iirc. There's two Johnsons...

He's not going to stay here so it would be pointless. It would only make sense if we were already or even close to being a contending team. We blew that up last summer. Trade makes no sense for us the way we're constructed now.

Last year we went 11 & 30 with heavy injuries, & 30 & 11 with much less injuries. So do you think we will have the same injuries, or we just suck? :-?

I'm not going to argue with you if you think we are a good team. That's just...yeah no. I won't. Agree to disagree.

I guess thats your way of saying this team sucks for you.

Still has nothing to do with him being a great shooter now lmao.

You realize mid range is the hardest shot in the NBA right lol?

Even Wade shoots in the 40%'s and he's a good mid range shooter too lmao.

still inefficient, tho lmao

nobody in the NBA shoots over 45% from mid range LMAO

Kawhi, KD, Kyrie, Pau Gasol, PG, Conley, Klay. I guess, there many others.
Spoiler:
LMFAO

Let me stop you right there. Taking it personally? You quoted me talking about posts I made last off season, yet I have no **** idea who you are  You have taken my opinion far more personally than I could ever imagine taking you. I never even committed your screen name to memory so that says everything.

You're determined to cry about Wade and also try to convince me a team that I know is bad is good because of some made up barometer of success. The team isn't good, and you'll see it if the FO is dumb enough to bring them back on long term contracts next season. This is like last season where I and others wanted to tank and many were so against it. Now they've seen the value a lottery pick would have had and are lamenting our "best record in the second half of the season".

Stop quoting me crying please.

Why do you only come in here to complain & talk bad about our team? You dont like our franchise we know this, but dont put us down cause thats how our fans get offended. Just keep you hate to yourself & people wont feel insulted.
