Trump probably shouldn't have said that until the investigation validates it(if it does), but Democrats brought it on themselves because there have been DEI hires who had no business doing the job. Like Pete Butegieg. What were his qualifications for being the transportation secretary? He only got that job because he checked a box for the identity politics obsessed Democrats. There probably was a place for DEI/Affirmative action, but as Democrats always do, they take a mile when they're given an inch. Unions were a great idea 120 years ago, but they've been bastardized to hell by liberals since. Civil rights was a great idea back in the 60's, but after black people overcame, Democrats wanted more and created a race bating industry. The women's liberation was a great idea, but then when they got equality that wanted superiority. Then the Democratic party forgot women's liberation ever existed and let trans women **** all over them in sports. When gay people came out of the closet and didn't have to go back in ~15 years ago, they and the rest of the LGBT123 club stopped being nice about wanting equal rights and turned into monsters. This is why the Democratic party is on it's death bed right now. Since they don't know how to exist without identity politics, I don't expect them to survive.

You’ve summarized in a nutshell what was transpiring on the surface, but it was way more sinister $. Automation meet Globalization meet Population reduction. But I’ll stop here, this is not the forum lol

All I know is that thank God the destructive train was derailed.

Good riddance to DEI and as a Canadian I even have to say they've done plenty for the US to be displeased with. They take advantage of their military strength and neglect their own. And they don't care about the US border security. I wish we had Trump in Canada our joke of a PM has been as bad as Biden was and that's really saying something.

What were the orange one's qualifications to be President? The man can barely read.

Certain people have been guaranteed jobs based only on "checking off certain boxes" from the day this country was founded ... and they really don't like losing their monopoly on power.

If you're not sure who I'm talking about, it's the same people that keep building monuments to traitors.

Feel free to take him away.

The US border doesn't need securing. We are blessed with oceans to our east and west, and with friendly neighbors to our north and south. Every single person in this country came from somewhere else or is descended from people who came from somewhere else, and as a result of taking them in, we're the world's only superpower. The reason that people come here from central and south America, and Africa, and the middle east, and China, and India, and whatever part of Canada you're from, and everywhere else, is because of the great nation that centuries of immigrants have built this country into.

Democrats tend to focus on the 99% of immigrants that come here to build better lives and help strengthen this nation.

Bigots like to focus on the other 1%.

Fentanyl and ILLEGAL immigrants are the problem not immigrants in general, you are clearly heavily biased saying Trump can barely read when Biden couldn't walk a flight of stairs and Harris couldn't put an unscripted sentence together. So I'll just leave this alone good day...

A president doesn't need to be able to walk up and down a flight of stairs.

I am biased against horrible people. People who target and victimize the weak because they are stronger and can get away with it. I am biased against bullies.

The better discussion is why we felt the need to have DEI in the first place, but it's one the RW doesn't wanna have because of how it will make them look. Can't say I blame them entirely.....as it would blow their delusions to smithereens.

Oh don’t worry my Canadian brother, change is coming, and lil Castro has his days numbered.
He was always just a piece on the checkerboard for the puppet masters, just like Biden was.
Although Trump doesn’t really need Canada as the 51st state (he is just playing chess with the checker's fickle minded), I know of too many Canadians who would take him at his word

Didn’t Elon Musk tell all y’all non-DEI‘s that you’re too stupid and lazy to have well paid jobs and that they need to go to the brown people he can underpay and who you are just now realizing are also a threat to your very tentative superiority complex?

Well He has the presidents ear and is about to take away overtime and benefits for your **** job (the one that he convinced you shouldn’t be allowed to have a union so he could get away with crapping on you even more as an employee). Focus on that lol

I’m not a mod obviously but I think it’s probably better if this doesn’t become a political thread, we’re all Heat fans, let’s keep our arguments Heat related.

As for Bills/Chiefs, I found myself rooting for Buffalo somehow, getting tired of KC every year and the Dolphins are in too much disarray for me to consider the Bills a rival right now.

Agreed that DEI was an absolute disaster and am glad to see it be gone. Found it extremely insulting with the abject pandering and the feint affront on my behalf as a minority. Keep that crap away and do not need to be someone's white guilt redemption arc all in the name to farm virtue signaling social cred.

I can't speak to your life experience, but I do feel your ire with regards to the pandering....as a minority myself who's pulled himself up & doing pretty well...I know the talk on both sides of the coin (the one you're speaking of can be viewed as an acknowledgement of an objective societal wrong, the other side is just the talking points of bigoted people who have a deluded sense of superiority). Regardless, the talk pales in comparison to how it must be for someone who's far more qualified to be dismissed because his/her pigmentation doesn't align with someone's ignorant/bigoted/narrowminded worldview.

Anyway mods, I'm done I promise....just thought @spectrec130 view on this was worth responding to. Unlike the others, it was worth my time

Will respond in kind and give you some insight to my experience. As a superintendent and leader of 4 supervisors and work-centers in the Aviation Maintenance career field, am in a position to not only perform hiring for my sections but also to meet others at my level in a co-mentorship peer to peer setting. The thinking is across the board for both whites and minorities at our level, that is competency over all else. Why? Because as much as the Public/Execs/Senior Leadership/Media has tried to tout DEI, there is no removal of accountability in case of an accident. So when the superintendent places his name as the final sign off in the forms as a guarantee of the Aircraft's viability/safety, trust is the measure of currency and not virtue or identity. Am fortunate that I'm in a career that one's ability can be measured so it has been far easier to avert bad choices but the point pales in comparison to how it must be for an entire work section rife with poor hiring practices due to having such a bigoted narrow minded view of pigmentation/identity over competency all in the vain attempt to illustrate virtue. I've witnessed it and the ramifications were catastrophic (loss of life).

Yeah, thank god Trump is reversing DEI and making America "great" again. Like it was back in the good old days when power and opportunity were reserved for the best and the brightest whites.
