I feel like Bam is a better overall player than Brown, but I'd trade Bam for Brown in a heartbeat if that means that 3ammy is going to the Boston forums as part of the deal.

I don't think there's one fan base that isn't fighting the gag reflex with all these extortions/demands/lack of loyalty/lack of team identity.

Im quite disappointed w/ Boston throwing away what they built to try for an easier chance to win a title. It’s the process of developing, grinding out gm’s seasons & series that made their journey to the finals meaningful. They now want to trade away a key piece to their success after building & gaining all that chemistry, experience & recently making an NBA finals.

Values, fortitude & grit has completely gone out the window in todays nba.

If we had a shot @both Kd & Brown but Bam had to be traded i wonder who here wld do it. I wonder what Miami wld decide. I like Bam, as I'm defensively inclined, but I think I'd pull the trigger.

Maybe the leak from the Boston radio that Jaylen Brown wants out a few weeks ago holds weight and they are not confident on retaining him in two years, who knows what's going behind the scenes.

Had it not been in ICC's update I'd completely dismiss it as Nets leaking to increase offers. It's completely strange. I find it cowardly.

That is cowardly. It would be perfectly fine if we did it though.

Collin Sexton has been mentioned a few times, it shows he has the 2nd worst +/- in NBA history for a players first 4 seasons. To be fair the Cavs have been terrible up until adding a lot of talent last season but it could be concerning if we ended up swinging for him

If it was my call I’d trade Bam if it meant KD in a Heat uniform. One player equals real championship contender, while the other player equals real championship pretenders.

Think about it.

KD and pieces or Bam and pieces.

If KD the biatch goes to Boston I hope he has a career ending injury. Dudes got it made, won’t make a difference so **** it. I hope Herro’s personal life gets so messy that we don’t extend him and I hope Tatum goes lifting and his intestines come out of his a-hole.

So you trade Bam for KD. 2nd round of the playoffs KD tears his Achilles again at the age of 34, that injury keeps him out the rest of the playoffs and all of the following season. You go into the 2024-25 season with a 36 year old KD fresh off an Achilles tear and a 35 year old Jimmy both combining for about $100M in cap space.

What do you do now? We’ve given up our future and a player everyone wants to play with. No more dreams of Mitchell/Tatum/etc. because they’re not coming here without him.

Bigger picture it just doesn’t make sense to me but as I’ve said if KD was 28 or even 30 and didn’t have the crazy injury history it would be different.
