Still hard to believe keeping Dedmon was an off-season priority for the front office. We rushed to give him 4 million within the first 30 minutes of free agency…

Yeah, Spo had already sent him to hit the showers, and was half way through the tunnel when he got actually ejected, Clown!

Is that for real? He was ejected by Spo first? If so, he's done.

Yeah, he was on his way to the locker room, swiped at that massage gun that landed on the court, ref sees that and "ejects" him as he disappears. </scene>

What dirt does he have on this organization? Tampering evidence? It has to be something good.

He was signed to be a future trade filler. Make no mistake about that.

For such a non-core piece (a backup C needed to play 12mpg), it was a pretty strange move. These guys are a dime a dozen.

Atleast Dipo is now showing his wares. That will be a different issue this offseason if he keeps this up though.

True, but still, within the first 30 minutes?

Ah well, it's a 1yr deal. He won't be back next season.

Fuxk Dedmon man. We revived his career, he should be thankful and on his best damn behavior. Dude was out of the league and no one was going to pick him up, he got an extra $10M out of us. He’s trash and apparently not a good teammate.

He needs to go, he is and always has been since the second he signed just salary filler in a trade. We had no intentions of playing him this season but the yurt injury forced our hand

They took advantage of the early bird rights there. Nothing more, nothing less.

I’m guessing Dedmon was given 4 million to be attached to Duncan to get up to 20 million worth of salary. Dedmon and Duncan get us to Bogdonovic’s 19 million. We will have to pay in blood in the form of draft picks attached with that package.

The Heat have such a great scouting department and get huge value from players no one saw value in. Why waste a roster spot on Dedmon? What they need to stop doing is re-signing these diamond in the rough players that become salary cap burdens the moment they are signed (Tyler Johnson, Whiteside, D-rob). They get paid and then their play declines. No need to sign Dedmon to that deal if D-Rob wasn’t re-signed in the first place.

Lots of bad moves tbh. Honestly could understand why ownership is none too pleased by some of the bumbling moves the FO is making. That 4 million right now used on Dedmon could have given this team so much flexibility.

For Spo to toss that man when we only have 9 available players and only 2 of them centers is next level pissed for a guy ge normally tries to out in at all cost. I hope Orlando is the backup from now on.

NBA history from the line was mostly Butler, who is unstoppable. Great team win tonight. Serious.
