Interviewing people that didn’t know Tyler wasn’t a part of the Finals run? Barry fell off

Give me Kelly O back I liked that guy he played great basketball here, fits well next to Bam in my opinion. I like his DHO game, and his ability to space the floor from a big spot.
Realistically we don't need some earth shattering move, we just need to play better basketball like we did last night. If Miami finishes the season as a 6 seed I see a very likely rematch with the Celtics in the ECF

Priority # 1 for our organization is trying to get out of the tax or minimize it as much as possible. Everything else is secondary.

I at least need Dunn back too in a KO trade, we need a defensive minded guard in the worst way. Utah or Brooklyn, put it all on the table outside of the big 2 and maybe Jaime (unless Lauri or Bridges are available) and work something out.

If we don't have to give much to have him, that sounds good.
I personally don't like his game or his defensive skills. I'd prefer to have a more intimidating presence when I look at a 7'.
In my opinion, he'll not improve the team that much.
Again, if it is a small price to pay, then let's do it.

Terry
Martin
Jimmy
Cam Johnson
Bam
That's the type pf PF we need with Terry on board - a solid defender at 6'8, elite 3 point shooter, scores efficiently all over, will play off Jimmy/Terry/Bam without freezing the offense and without getting killed on D.
We had Kelly before - his defense made him unplayable in money time, and his 3 point, which is the biggest need for us, is mad inconsistent.

210 lbs is not the answer at PF. If this team is fortunate enough to make a Finals run they are just going to get worn out by a larger front court like last year. Maybe that's what we need to happen to move Bam to his natural position once and for all.

Bam will never play PF here before we get an elite shooting C to play next to him.
Since we can't get that type of Center, a very rare player - we need to play Bam next to legit sized PF that is an elite shooter.
Cam Johnson is best available target, along with Jerami Grant that might be harder to get.

We don't need an elite shooting C if Bam expands his range. Every year we keep getting typecasted into these undersized 4's and limited 'bigs' like Olynyk who don't offer anything outside of one skill.
You guys like numbers a lot around here. This is the weight of the starting 4 on the last 5 nba champions
236
230
242
254
245
These 210 lb tweeners are not the answer.

Either they dump Duncan now or will have to dump Herro or Duncan for expiring’s in the offseason or else they will be dealing with repeater tax ramifications on top of apron rules. Plenty in the fan base are not getting it yet but when it happens it will be cheap Micky this and that.

Yeah 6'10'' 260+ PLEASE.. There's so many dudes on this team that would be so much more effective if we had someone who could protect the rim.

What’s funny to me is we’re in one of the worst spots financially without ever even going all in because we have a few **** contracts for 1 dimensional players like Herro and Duncan. We’re fighting the 2nd apron for guys you can find on just about any team. If we’re going to be fighting the 2nd apron stuff we should be having another star next to Jimmy and Bam at least and winning championships. Not a bunch of undrafted try hards who lack overall talent

Absolutely agree with this. 50 million tied up between Herro and Duncan has been rough on these books. Something has got to give.

The books situation is so bad we might have to do like we did with the 2027 pick and ship out 2029 protected with convey to 2030. Or it’s going to be Jovic as a sweetener.

Next year is going to be alot harder to find a deal like we did with Rozier which is looking more and more amazing that we were able to pull that off

This core is not making it past next year if they do not win a chip this season. They giving this core one more season. And the core is Herro, Bam and Butler

Nets do not have a draft pick this year, so they are not concerned about their record. So the only thing they are concerned about is getting draft picks back. They are just holding on assets to get the most in return.
