Basically, there’s a lot of blame to go around. The only innocent parties are like…Ware and Pelle, and that’s because they just got here.

its mostly the main guys, Spo and the org who are to blame.

I wouldn't blame the role players and young guys. Except Duncan he gets payed too much not to get some blame.

This is great news. Sell for best return for the future of the team.

Value-wise, this was probably the best way to go, don't imagine getting great value though

get us a decent young player and I'd be happy!

This team minus Jimmy is simply not good enough to get to that point

Heat makes the playoffs without jimmy the way its currently built.

If we are healthy, but if one of our main players goes down all bets are off.

So what's the deal with the picks, if we make the playfoffs we don't have to give them or they get dealt at a later date ?

That the worst possible outcome. That means the OK pick and the CHA pick we own become unprotected. Us getting a lottery pick this year would be a disaster, like Pat getting fired on the spot bad.

This is suppose to be a heavily talented draft class. So no it wouldnt be a bad situation. The Heat will have two huge expiring contracts going into next season to play chess with. Not effing up the cap situation is priority.

It's actually the best outcome imo. You still retain 2026 flexibility which is clearly what this is all about. Getting lottery pick + point Jovic (just wait for it) and lads run it next season convey 2026 pick. Who cares about 2028 the team is rebuilt.
