Nah LeBron threw those Finals. Which is even worse, and why he will forever be hated by me.

It made me say if this is the player he is, he's gonna be the greatest of all time quick af. Then suddenly forgets how to play in the post against midgets because Wade was trending for finals MVP.

You know Wade and LeBron were making a big deal shilling their stupid 08 redeem team documentary. But I'd pay any amount of money to get the real story behind the 2011 Finals collapse, all of it, every juicy detail. Of course we'll never hear that because LeBron's image is way too well protected now, but that's the scoop I want.

I don't think there's any conspiracy. Lebron just choked. The way Drake is getting clowned after the Kendrick beef was how Lebron was getting clowned after the Dallas final loss. I don't think he would sabotage Wade just to be a laughing stock for a full year. That loss was the lowest part of his career and probably one of the lowest in his life. People forget how hated he was, how much pressure he was under and how much the whole NBA fandom celebrated him & Miami getting embarrassed.

Wade against the Pistons in 05 was better, and it was when the Pistons still had an incredible, best in the league D. But I agree with everything else.

Honestly, the 2011 finals made me look at Wade differently too. He just fell in line behind LeBron after that, took it on the chin. And then again when LeBron purposefully screwed us on his way out (even though I still disagree with Riley taking that out on Wade).

That series by Wade was like 1a/1b between he & Bron, only because we had a better squad. That layup was CRAZY by Wade. I missed all the bank shots he used to do.

But return of bald Wade during the Olympics is my favorite player. My god that windmill against Canada had me running and screaming.

I prefer 05-06 and 06-07 Wade myself. Things changed after that, but I get it, without a meniscus he had to do what he had to do to get back to that level. But it changed, both his game and his attitude. I will agree the adrenaline rush from seeing Wade being clearly the best player in the world again in the 08 Olympics was pretty great though, after the 07-08 disaster.

Wade getting hurt in 05 sucked. I remember the hype at the gym. We all thought the Heat were going to win. No way Pistons were going to stop them and then Wade get hurts. It hurt all of us. That was a great time to be a Heat fan though.

Yeah LeBron is the dumbest person ever if he thought playing like that was good for him. If he was worried about Wade winning FMVP he should have just started chucking (assuming his only goal was himself winning). It's not like LeBron hasn't had other times he's been timid either, that was just the worst one. And he learned from it. Besides Wade wouldn't still be cool with him if it was like that.

I don't think Lebron is anywhere the choker people who don't like him say he is, but he definitely didn't play up to par in that series. I'll never forget when I looked and saw Mario Chalmers ended up with more FTs in that finals than Lebron.

I'll give Lebron credit though. He could have caved, made max money for years, and never won a championship. But, he came back focused and had some all time great playoff series in route to winning 4 championships. For whatever reason that 2011 Finals he just didn't play up to his potential. If he did he probably would have five rings.

I'm pretty convinced no one will ever be able to surpass MJ as GOAT in the eyes of the public due to the narrative around him. I'm not saying LeBron did surpass MJ btw, just the crazy standards I see MJ fans hold anyone who threatens him to....yeesh. Besides if LBJ doesn't come here, Wade probably has what like 1 ring?
