Jak is already the best pg on this team.

I think were going to see Jak, powell, wiggs, bam, and ware at some point. Near perfect starting line up construction as far as 2 way ability and skill set.

just need to be ok from 3, take the open shot, but that's often easier said than done

2nd best defense in the league last season with both on the court, we just have to figure out the offense. Need a pkaymaker they can constantly feed off of, both can shoot the 3 and are continuing to develop it

makes sense. best of luck for the season.

Tough move by Jaime. So good to see him playing free.

Incredibly impressive debut by Jakucionis so far. Composed, fiesty defensively, creative with the roll man on offense and playing tough. I can see the Gogi comparisons. Once he learns how to use his frame to create space on the drive, he could be something.

Damn sounds like I missed some good stuff by some of the young guys. As a Jays fan I wasn't able to watch this game.

Well, on the Spo +/- meter, the bench guys sure outplayed the starters tonight.

Hot take, but if Ware or Bam are able to shoot threes at a good clip, we may be better off running with:

Mitchell / Smith / Jakucionis
Powell / Larsson
Wiggins / Jaquez
Adebayo / Jovic
Ware

As a 9 man rotation. If we start Ware, we need Davion to start for the extra ball handling and creativity. If we start Niko, I'd go with Dru as the nominal starter and bring Davion in off the bench.

If starting Ware, Niko then can run the 2nd unit, with Dru/Pelle/Larsson as secondary ball handlers. Big man minutes get eaten up between Bam/Ware/Niko in totality.

I am enjoying Spo’s approach to coaching Ware, as well as Ware’s growing pattern of responding positively.

In a time when it can seem like absolutely no one can accept even reasonable criticism, it certainly looks like Ware is an exception.

He’s a very talented young man, and I think he understands that Spo isn’t hard on him simply for Spo’s sake. Spo is a made man.

Spo is hard on Ware because he believes in him. I could say many of the same things with Niko as well.

Also, hello Kasparas Jakucionis. Just one game, but promising indeed.
