Orlando 1-3 lol.

What a script flip for both teams after the opener.

Riley is over there on the sidelines slobbering at the thought of Rozier coming off the books.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

We beat them if Ware starts!!

Franz is their best player, has been for a while but they cater to Paola and his non impactful game

Learned some good lessons from that game I think.

We def need to be reminded every once in a while of our shortcomings.

Im not a huge fan of Tyler Herros game and the cost it he will bring in the future. Having said that, talks of trading Herro and questioning his fit on this offense are misguided.

When teams adapt and properly game plan for what we are doing, things slow down, and we play tighter contested games, we will desperately need Herro and Powell to get us half court buckets.

Even if it doesn’t slow down as much, you are right in that it will eventually be a more contested offense. That’s when we need players that can be a little more creative at getting their buckets, that way the others can continue to roam more freely. I believe the idea would be to allow Herro to feast as quick as possible, while making decisive reads to swing the ball when his gravity creates openings for others.

I agree with this, Banchero to me reminds me of Melo, a guy who can get his but doesn't really make his teammates better. Similar offensive games too, Banchero's a bit bigger but still.

We just sent Precious packing for the 2nd time :(

I’d love to see him in this offense running the point.

My biggest curiosity is seeing how Tyler initiates the offense without utilizing the PNR. Can he take advantage of the additional lane space, get to the bucket and finish? He vastly improved last year at the rim. Need to see another year out of him before I’m sold on the evolution of his game.

Cutter, spot up, movement shooting, general shot creation he’s going to get his.

Exactly. We are literally 4 games into the season and teams are just even seeing us with this style of play for the first time. All while still trying to figure out their own rotations/defense/offense. To think that is going to be the case indefinitely is either a result of having zero basketball knowledge or being extremely reactionary.

Like I think that I can confidently say that eventually teams will start to make it a point to get back on defense against us and we'll have to actually run some plays lol.

I gotta say even if it's only over 4 games I never thought I'd see this!

This is the offense Spo envisioned last year, the one Jimmy complained about in the media. Now, with no drama and a full offseason to build the right roster, it’s awesome to see it finally clicking.

I can't believe 4 months ago I was all amped up for Ben Saraf in our draft thread and he looks pretty bad early days. Of course he is 19 and it is 4 games, but still he is about 20% FG right now
