Younger Jimmy in Chicago would've thrived in this with cuts to the rim. Older Jimmy I'm not sure. He seems more about bully ball and drawing fouls under the rim. On the other hand Jimmy is such a high IQ player I'm sure he would've made it work. The tempo plus being surrounded by Herro and Powell along with an aggressive Bam shooting 3s now....I'd gamble on it.

Yep, would literally just depend on his mindset. We’d be contending with an engaged Jimmy on this roster 100%

We’ve got Wemby next game so I doubt it, that usually means a highly engaged Ware but we’ll see. We need the 3s to be on point so we can pull Wemby out of the paint.

Glad, I kept my Jaime stock, he's got his head on this year.

This summer I sold my Ware stock, not cause I don't like him, I just have a hard time believing in Bigs with questionable motors/defense-- that potential rarely comes out on the other side. But I think that I'm thinking moreso about the potential for him to be a star, I think he might have potential to be a really good role player if he can limit his pitfalls. The team is really good when he's good

he really is the engine of whatever lineup he is in. Spo is a genius for letting him play to his strengths. i dont even remember the last time we had a great bench and if kasp can get some burn that will give JJJ a breather

Yes. Hes not a catch and shoot type. Hes a momentum player. You can see it even when hes doing interviews. He rocks back and forth as if hes going to explode.

Give him the rock and let him run and jump and spin amd be chaos to defend. I love seeing him play like this

 I was just thinking that while the mayhem was ongoing!

But the problem with a jump shooting offense, without any strong post presence is that when the shooters go cold, the offense will stagnate. JJJ attacking the rim mercilessly is the saving grace. He is the engine of this team on offense right now
