No problem but make sure you preview the player because some are bull. The one I have he's rated a 68 and I think everything is pretty accurate.

Lol @ Beasley. No. Once was enough. The guy just doesn't care about basketball.

He's a poor man's Charlie Villanueva, which is the meanest thing I've ever said about anyone.

I don't really care for Beasley. Odom is as much of a "risk", but at least he's proven he can contribute on a championship team

He's a shell of his former self.

His contribution with Dallas was exquisite and long lasting.

  These counters have gotten so old. OBVIOUSLY, he's not his former self or else he wouldn't be getting the minimum wherever he may get it. But the point is his production post AS break last season would have been better (along with his particular skill set and height) than our STARTING POWER FORWARD, UDONIS HASLEM (who some would say is a shell of his former self as well). With that in mind, at this point anyways we'd just be looking for insurance or at most a body that could potentially step in and give us some spot minutes at the 4, someone to do little things.. grab a board, score off an assist run in transition, decent D.

IF, and yes it's a big IF, Odom is in a decent mental state & around the same shape or better than last season he is more than capable of providing what we'd want because the fact is he'd be an improvement over Haslem, again who STARTED for us, and the rest of the guys on the roster who naturally play the 4. And if you're a real Heat fan you'd know that RIley gushes over Lamar's skillset so you can bet they are giving the situation their due dilligence.. you'd also know how he really feels about Beasley and how serious they take this culture thing (especially now cuz how Beasley turned out///btw Riley was very wary about drafting him in the first place). But times have changed, just last offseason there was a small movement on these boards for us to sign Allen Iverson...

That Odom/Wade/Riles article is from like 4 years ago lmao.

Anyways, we have 13 guaranteed spots right? I think we'll just sign 1 more guy and let that 15th spot be open in case someone shakes free later on as the season progresses. Since Ennis is Aussie-bound and Varnado unlikely to be retained (?) I figure it's gonna be a vet

#1 priority - Ivan Johnson
#2 priority - Lamar Odom ( If Pat thinks he's got something left).

Dont really see anoyone else out there that we could use. 1 of these options, then leave the last spot open in case someone decent gets bought out mid-season.

Hilarious how high people's expectations/wants are for a minimum guy signed this late in the offseason.

Ivan Johnson, UD and Birdman. Scary enforcers :D

Beasley would be better than anyone available now for the amount we can pay. However, he is a knucklehead who will land himself in trouble before his contract is up. It's hard to get excited for him.

Probably. Not to mention, we don't need another player who cries in the locker room

Rumbling are that S Jax is linked with the Heat, I thought he was a 3 point marksmen and just looked and he was a 27% 3 point shooter last year, besides his offcourt problems he obviously doesn't have any game left either.

Just sign Ivan Johnson and leave the 15th spot open if any becomes available mid season, we save money and don't lock any crap players into a contract that we'd have to waive if someone good became available.

I like Stephen Jackson as a player. And I really have no idea how he will fit in our system.. If he does join, I hope he won't shoot bricks like he has the past 3 years from 3. Dude wasn't even able to shoot at least 30%..

I'm kinda neutral here because I'm kinda biased in favor of him lol

I love Jax as a personality but dude is done. Can't shoot anymore and even the Spurs and Pop, who he's known forever couldn't settle him down. Usually I don't really care about chemistry concerns because we have a great locker room, but if Jax was causing issues in San Antonio, of all places, that's a no go for me.
