Not scared of either OKC or Spurs. We're threepeating.

Or like the Nets didn't sweep the Heat this regular season.

We steal one of the first 2 games on the road, I see us winning in 6 again, NO MATTER if it's Spurs or Thunder

With the NBA going back to the 2-2-1-1-1 system it's gonna be interesting to see how it would effect the Spurs. The reasons for going to the 2-3-2 were valid back then, but things have changes in the last 30 years of NBA travel.

For me even if the Spurs make it, it's the same protocol.....they don't have anyone to stop LJ for 7 games. Yeah yeah we gonna see Leonard on him but it's gonna hinder his offense just like it did last year. And the Spurs are full of shooters who are hit / miss guys, when they're on they're tough but when they're missing all the pressure falls to Parker to produce.

Heat in 6, but I damn sure wouldn't be surprised if they took it in 5.

I would rather see the spurs in the finals. Although OKC is an inferior team, they still have the wildcard of having KD/Westbrook on their team. either way i think the Heat are slight favorites at this point

Spot on as usual. I feel the same way homie. I would LOVE for Parker to try & beat us each game because you can tell that injury has really limited him. He's not the same player from last year. The other reason is that the Spurs play the EXACT same way they played last year. It's a game of chess with the Spurs & Pop, you've got to beat them at their game because they won't beat themselves. In the 2 games they we played them this season they did the exact same thing in the Finals, clog the paint & force LeBron & D-Wade to make jump shots

In fact wm3, I'd go as far to say these are probably the last days of Parker at his peak. He's 32 going on 33 next May. He's not a spring chicken anymore and injuries will take longer to recover from. I don't care what anyone says, his hamstrings are starting to become chronic problems for him. And guards more than anything need their hams just like QB's need strength to their arms.

Parker is at a point now that he'll have the occasional flash back game of old, but he can't consistently carry the Spurs and when he can't they struggle.

In the long run I don't see Parker being as effective in his mid to late 30's such as Jason Kidd was, simply because he relied so much on his speed in earlier part of his career. He was never a thinking type PG like Kidd or Magic were. Playing at full speed was his strongest advantage, it was the reason his jumper was never consistent. Once his total speed is sapped he's done.

As far as Pop's game plan, he'll do it again as you said. But it won't matter because Pop still doesn't realize that Lebron is smart enough to facilitate the Heat attack to where it's to Lebron's and Wade's advantage. Just like when LJ made the adjustment to move in the post later in the series last Finals. It threw the Spurs off big time. People feed into the hype that Lebron doesn't desire to playing in the post enough, he doesn't have to when he can still explode past anyone. From what I see he goes to it when he wants to see certain things from the defense, the only two players I see doing this is him and Kobe.
