Adam can go kick rocks, I don't recall 1 thing he was right about that wasn't extremely obvious to any Heat fan.

Yeah Adam is captain obvious and likes to rub it in everyone’s nose when the obvious happens. Chances are high that Oladipo walks for a guaranteed minutes gig. Right now with the Heat that’s hard to project with Herro and Strus with the possibility of Martin coming back.

To be fair I’d expect a much better Oladipo with an actual offseason

Yeah, if Kyrie wants to opt out of $37 million and sign with us for $6 mil that would be fine.

Oladipo has never been a very good 3 point shooter and is really not the ideal compliment next to Butler. Was never very efficient either. Helluva slasher and defender though when healthy. Miami likes the two spot to be a high caliber 3 point shot maker that spreads the floor for Jimmy. This is why Duncan was starting all those years till he crapped the bed and got all in his head. I envisioned a role of 6th man for Oladipo on this team but it’s possible he wants more then that. He might want to the chance to prove his worth as a starter. Someone might give him that chance if the price is right.

I think it was game 5 against the Celtics...Oladipo missed two wide open 3s on one possession...and they werent even close. You guys remember.

To be fair, the whole damn team was off from 3. But those Victor bricks have stuck with me.

I’m not ready to lose Oladipo. It’s tough to lose a dude that was so hyped to put on the team jersey.

Bam,Herro,Robinson and 3 1st

For

Durant and Seth Curry

That’s what our best offer looks like for Durant and matches dollar for dollar on the trade checker.

Maybe it’s KD that Pat is hunting moving PJ to Philly to allow KD to start at the 4 is a pretty sensible thing. He’s also the type of player that a team would be asking for final offers by a deadline and be entitled to feel that way.

Though, if he’s hunting Heat or one other team, they better deal him - he’s watched Harden (twice) and Simmons throw tantrums to get their way; and KD is more in his feelings than those two!

That's an interesting idea

KD would require a higher level package than a Herro-based one, but I'd be willing to offer a package built around Bam without hesitating

They do know Lonzo is with Bulls. But if Im Pels hell no on Ingram. Ingram is on the rise, soon he can be a top 15 or even top 10 player. For the next 5 years Ingram will be better than KD. So why give up potentially 12 years of Ingram + Zion for KD.
I can understand the Heat giving up Bam because you Heat are so close and I don't think Bam has a top 10 player in league ceiling.
If Zion stays healthy, NO will be contenders within 2 years with their current core

That was the original Anthony Davis deal. They are saying Brooklyn will be asking for something similar.

34yo post-Achilles KD won't yield the same return as prime AD

But what if Brooklyn came to us with something like:

KD + Joe Harris + Claxton

for

Bam + Herro + Duncan

That would be awfully tempting and I'd probably pull the trigger

Anthony Davis was nearly a decade younger when traded vs soon to be 34 year old KD. I'm not saying KD is worse but the amount of years you can expect his services is probably much less then what the Lakers should get out of AD.

Now that i think about it. Bam,Herro, Robinson with picks for Durant and Curry is one helluva proposal.

C Omer Yurtseven
PF Kevin Durant PF PJ Tucker
SF Jimmy Butler
SG Max Strus or SG Victor Oladipo
PG Kyle Lowry

Would be a ballsy move to trade Bam for Durant but i don’t see any other avenue. It’s a win win now move. And yes Durant even at this age is better then Bam.

Not gonna lie. Omer and Durant front court looks really intriguing. And if you mix in Tucker off the bench in a death lineup to close games with Durant at Center we got a championship mix.

Taking my fun police badge off for this one. I’m hyped about getting Kevinn Durant. Let Kyrie walk to the Lakers. It’s Snek Szn in South Beach.
