Nope that's not it, I only report what I get from a verbal conversation unless its sent on a text directly, not like I am dictating all of this on paper, so I could make mistakes. I didn't get any updates last night but I did get a text late around 11pm about an update this morning while also confirming the BS about Pat Riley or our staff flying out to meet with anyone, it was late and I was cuddled with the wife watching peaky blinders on netflix. I should have posted that, and I would of at least had some confirmation I am getting accurate information to you guys, but whatever.

He did confirm about PJ not coming back. PJ's agent made the team officially aware this morning he will take the Philly deal when its officially offered. Miami is working hard on finding a replacement at that position and make something work.

Dipo's camp has not given Miami any indication he is accepting an offer outside the organization. However they are aware that Dipo's preference is a short deal 2 years with a player option at or around 7-8 Million to negotiate from there. His top concern is playing time, Dipo has been talking to the coaching staff directly to get a feel for what his playing time will be on the team moving forward. Miami has told him a possible 6th man role is available with the ability to win the starting role based on a prove it basis coming this offseason. They feel confident nobody else is gonna pay more than 4-5Mil for his services so we should be able to retain him.

Herro is indeed headed out on a deal happening shortly after 6pm today.

Duncan is headed out on a separate deal happening shortly after 6pm today. This one will be the first one reflected.

Brooklyn has officially removed the request for pick attached for an Irvin trade, however they do not want Kyle Lowry on the return and has requested for a third team involved. They have involved Dallas in a three team deal to make this work to replace Brunson. Kyle Lowry's camp was notified this morning of this possibility. Brooklyn has also made Irvins camp aware.

Mo Mamba, is not on Miami's priority list. They are not sold on his game, and feel they have enough projects on the team as of currently. They are looking for a Vet at the PF position.

Good stuff ICC. Don’t worry about these fools, they’re Watchout maximalists.

One thing though, what’s up with the handshake deal? Did we lose our grip?

It was explained to me that unless this gets sent in to the NBA officially teams can back out of any verbal negotiations as long the team in question is given written notice with 24 hours of that expiration. Packets put together in free agency have contingencies that must be met (Executives can agree to most of these, but require other buying's from either player or special conditions, etc. ) and also allotted time for a team to be able to get out for a better package is always in print. That's why the trade market is so volatile, these packets sometimes are only good for 24-48 hours sometimes, its a safety net used to get out of a simple trade into a better one.

No mention of him ( I am sure theres multiple trades considerations happening behind the scene at one time that not all team members get to hear about ), and I only get my sources either prior to lunch/morning break or late at night.

You have to appreciate the fact that Cubano doesn't just post some random ish and disappear like you know who. Atleast for that, Cubano is a ++ in my book!

Return to Miami Heat
