Maybe I'm not understanding this correctly....

Heat have $164 million on books next year. Including Butler's $52.4 mil player option, Rozier's $26.6 mil team option, and Robinson's $19.8 mil player option.

If Butler opts out and they don't pick up Rozier's option then the only have $86 out of $140 mil of cap. That's $54 million in cap space?

They probably want Butler to leave for somewhere else. It's possible they could also offer Duncan more money over longer years for additional cap space?

Most of Rozier's salary is guaranteed, only like 1-2 million isn't. Half of Robinson's is also guaranteed.

So does that mean the guaranteed amount counts against the cap or just that the team has to pay it?

I just explained it, it was a simple chest bump to say I'm on you, Herro took offense, bent down and PUSHED THROUGH THOMPSON, THEY BOTH LOCKED UP, HERRO KEPT PUSHING FORWARD UNTIL THOMPSON PULLED/PUSHED HERRO TO THE GROUND? How hard is it to understand. Most players don't do what Herro did when someone comes chest to chest to them, he could have just pushed him off him and laughed it off.

Also, not a bad thing moving forward for Herro to let people know he will fight back.

Thompson grabbed Herro by his jersey though. Herro never grabbed or put his hands on Thompson.

At the very least they hooked arms and Herro kept pushing forward, it looks like he grabbed Thompsons jersey right when the lockup happened. If Herro would have stood his ground vs pushing forward, they may have just both been given a T. I'm just saying he did enough to get thrown out, both did.

Still, not a bad thing for Herro, he loses some money but lets people know he'll fight back.

BINGO, to push and even be face to face is fine. But if you put your hands on someone you better be ready to fight.

Down 5 when he checked in, won by 4. Bam checked in with 9:16 left in the 4th, Houston scored 10 total points for the remainder of the game and 6 of them were 2 garbage time 3s no one was really defending.

Basketball is more than scoring but when he finally consistently snaps out of the funk it’s a wrap

No saving was needed, he was huge ending basically everything on the offensive end for the rockets or we don’t win. That’s why it’s a team game, takes a collective effort. Don’t win without Herros scoring, Bams defense, Jovic bench play etc. it’s all intertwined but I know if it’s not scoring it won’t get recognition, is what it is. Scoring is easier for people to understand

Nah, they were pretty heated about that 5 second call, when VanVleet started turning to the ref that was him trying to call time out, the ref should have given him a TO if he made turn towards him/away from the play, Fred barely started turning to the ref before the 5 seconds was up.

What should have happened for Houson is that they tell the ref if we get past 4, I'm probably calling a TO when I'm turning towards you, it's something I've heard players talk about in interviews before to not get a 5 second call.

Yes, 5 players, ~95 mil in salary with the cap going up 10% each year, +14 next season and +15 mil after that.

Really happy for Niko. I’ve been a harsh critic but this is what i’ve been wanting out of him all along. He plays well off Ware and surely working his way with Bam but if we can just get that one more physical vet PF piece like a Tucker or Crowder i could see us really taking off. Ware is just a special game changing talent in the front court who hasn’t even scratched the surface.
