Beasley, it is!

After months and months of trying to see who Riley would take, the day finally comes.

If we do keep Beasley, he's going to be a damn good player with us from the get go. -- Given his natural scoring ability, he's going to mesh very well alongside Wade, and make for 1 hell of a 1-2 punch on the P&R along with one another.

If we do keep Beasley, as mentioned earlier, and somehow pick up a PG later on the in draft or one through Free Agency or through a trade, this Heat team can really contend for the playoffs once again, and if Beasley can come in right away and do what he was doing at the college level, he's going to really help this team, a lot!

KEEP HIM!

I was really suprised that Miami wanted Gay, Conley and #5 from Memphis. That is a very solid offer.

Saying that, I want Beasley instead. Please keep him Riley !!!!

Miami was just reaching with that deal imo seeing if Memphis would overpay. I'd do that deal but I am more than happy to keep Michael Beasley!

at least the worst case scenario is gone, Mayo drafted at 3....at worst were getting a pretty good trade.

Ok Riley would look really stupid if he traded him now after that interview.

I can't be only person who thinks it wouldn't look out of place for Pat to have a pair of horns during that interview. Whats up with that background?!?

Sounds like we like Beasley, maybe some kind of deal to work our way to get 8-12ish and maybe get Bayless? Or all that Mayo/Bayless stuff was smoke? Who knows, maybe we're done.

Riley sounds like he's keeping Beasley in South Beach, yet again his advisors have saved us.

Rileys video conference sounds convincing that Beasley will be here. Says Pfund didn't want Beasley anywhere else but Miami.

Wow what a suprise seeing Westbrook 4th though.

Good interview. Nice to hear Riley tell us, flat out, that his guys made sure he took and kept Beasley.

Wow, Seattle taking Westbrook this early? Seems a bit of a reach to me...

Riley said Pfund and the guys got him in a room and made sure Beasley would be picked. And Riley had to add in we hope we matures quickly.
