How does he move laterally? We switch everyone on every play so I'm guessing he's got that covered as well?

Surprisingly well for a guy his size. He's a cube. I mean that in the best way in terms of strength. And he'll benefit from your fitness program. But the caveat is that it's Summer League, right? Still, he stood out as a smart player knowing where to be and what to do consistently. Really nice shooting touch to boot.

Thanks for chiming in. Was just reading Spurs twitter and a lot of fans feel like we poached a good one. We have such desperate need at the 4 and you guys just got Roby so thanks for the sleeper.

The Heat send out Herro, Lowry, and 3 1sts and receive Mitchell.

This could be followed by a separate trade of Duncan and Yurt for Turner from the Pacers with a couple 2nds as sweetners attached.

Never trust a Mavs deal.

Fair... history does sour the interaction. But I was looking at former Lowry suitors that have disposable salary and might be willing to add picks to push further into playoff contention.

It was a good assessment, but after all calculations are complete, always multiply in the Mavs factor (0). The Heat will never get anything from em.

Not only did the Mavs narc on us about Lowry but now i’m supposed to think they are helping us out by giving us a 1st for him? So many pipe dream scenarios floating. Best chance to move Lowry is to the Clippers.

You don't think they might see themselves as being in a bit of a bind losing Brunson for nothing? They upgraded the front court with Wood, but they are down to two ball handlers on that roster in Dinwiddie and Luka. Lowry gives them another ball handler that is capable of playing off ball and he is someone they wanted pretty badly.

The Heat then can take Mitchell and run him alongside Dipo and they can share ball handling duties with Jimmy. Then put either Strus or Caleb as a floor spacing defender next to the other four and play a more up tempo game and the Heat could be really fun to watch.

Do they want Lowry given the bringing in of John Wall alongside Reggie Jackson? What would that package look like if the Heat traded with the Clips and could they get the needed picks to land a whale (mitchell)?

Football…yeah it’s been a while for us…
Basketball…we won the SEC and whooped every SEC team. Rick Barnes as usual chokes in the NCAAT.

Let me guess, Florida fan?

Maybe getting Bertans off the books for the Mavericks piques their interest.

They could have easily signed Goran Dragic who was practically begging to play with Doncic and Schroeder is still a free agent. Luka is the PG of that team and they have a healthy THJ coming back. They don’t have a desperate need at PG. They also have Dinwiddie making 20 mil as a backup.

Clippers already have Jackson and Wall so I wouldn't think they'd take Lowry.

Who eating that contract without compensation? Is he supposed to get rerouted to Brooklyn?

Mavs are sneks. Never do business with a snek. Never forget the turtle that offered to take the snek across the pond.

Lowry is a clear upgrade over Jackson who’s in the last year of deal and when was the last time you’ve seen Wall play basketball? Lowry also has ties to Leonard and Powell. Lowry and Wall are a good tandem.

We do.

How when we have to match Durants’s 44 million? We might be able to swing Reggie Jackson coming back here since he makes 5 million less the Bertans. He fills the void left by Lowry and reunites with Durant.

The Mavs have no interest in Lowry. They are not going to give up draft picks for him. Now if the Mavs had trash contracts like Duncan on steroids, I could see the need to trade for an expiring but right now they have no interest or inclination to do that proposed trade.

I guess it would be easier in a deal for Mitchell
