Comparing Bam to the likes of Horford/Bosh is a joke statistics don't take into account IQ/the way they read the game and plenty of other stuff he's not on that tier. He's a guy reliant on athletic ability and being spoon feed where as Big Al/Bosh were skilled/smart players with above average athletic ability.

The IQ of the backcourt is non existent Terry is so erratic and dumb he can't see any pass, Herro at least has balls to shoot and can do it But you are not a serious team if Terry is your starting PG at this stage. The team needs another trade if they keep trying to build around Bam Butler which they should not. Everyone wanted Charlotte Terry well heres Charlotte results

Good post. And you’re spot on with the last part, a lot of the same people who were beating down the doors for Terry last year saying we just had to have him are now leading the lynch mob. If there’s anybody whose game is tailor made for a reserve role its definitely his.

Terry came in last night and almost singlehandedly let a 13 point lead disappear. His play is very concerning.

What i saw was terrible spacing and bad looks for most of the players. Niko wasn't looking to shoot at all. Can't have that. Bottled up Brunson for 3 1/2 quarters then had no execution down the stretch with a tired lineup and zero substitutions. Town made it entire team look soft as he got whatever he wanted. Mcbride had his way as well. Bam is supposed to be our elite player? Outside of lobs he couldn't get a good look. Still zero pick and pop game? Still? Heat are limiting the offense with the perforation and philosophy. For the most part the Heat were the better team until that closing lineup.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

We're not running plays for him to get easy baskets to start the season off. Gotta improve there.

I'm not liking the fit here DoM. He overdribbles, isn't an amazing spot up shooter, not a great defender and is tiny.

I was an advocate, but I was wrong. Trading for him was a mistake.

Oh and Bam couldn't get anything going even if he wanted because he was in foul trouble. I would like to see Ware come along next to Bam. I like Jovic, but he's not a shot blocker or rebounder. Kept seeing 6'4" Josh Hart nab boards (14) while we have NO ONE on our roster with double digit rebounds. We have to play the rook. We HAVE to. Bench Jovic, put Bam at 4, Ware at 5.

Rozier
Herro
Jimmy
Bam
Ware

Or bench Rozier...

Herro
Jimmy
Jovic
Bam
Ware

Gotta do something, maybe it's effort? Idk, I defer to the rest of your knowledge everyone. Hurricane Milton has got me so fkn busy handling property claims I can't pay attention the way I want to lol

Ok, so upon further digging, I was not wrong or at least not crazy for having my thoughts on the starting lineup. This isn't a championship roster so give the rook some damn burn already, even if it's in spurts.

Yeah, he literally has to take a dribble then shoot. He cant just catch and shoot. He plays hard on D but hes always out of place and small. He was targeted a lot last night. As soon as he came in, the Knix went hard at him.

We need to flip him for Jordan Poole. Yes he was a meme last year, but this season he is locked in. He’s playing great so far and is far more talented than Scary or even Herro. I believe Spo and Pat + Jimmy and Bam can make a real star out of him. Watch his highlights this season and try to act like that guy isn’t a high end talent. If he’s on a real team with a real coach I believe we can turn him into an all star. The talent is there, the speed the shooting the handles are all there. He’s a far better shooter than Scary as well. Thanks to last season his value is probably low and can be had for cheap.
