We know you do. You've stated it in almost every post you've made since you joined this year.

Yeah but I've been a lifetime Heat fan. I recently joined here but was with the Official Heat forum for 2 years.

I think the team are suffering from battle weary syndrome at the moment.

Every game has been hyped, every play scrutinized, I think they are mentally exhausted. Spo ought to send them to the bahamas for a week and just play the bench guys - let them come back refreshed and eager to play.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

Other teams have people monitoring sports boards, twitter accounts, etc. -

OT - It's 50 degrees, been raining since last night, not a hard rain, but a steady rain. It kinda cold and I have to be on the internet for most of the day to catch up on some work. I am listening to and reading a lot of sports stuff today.

what is it with everyone - is there an anti-HIF bandwagon.

The post is serious the players are clearly suffering from battle fatigue syndrome, if you don't want to read my opinion then foe me - It's really easy and would stop so many people wasting their time with posts simply complaining about someone who they don't agree with and save your time from reading mine.

He's had some posts I didn't agree with, but the one you quoted is pretty much on point, except for the Bahamas part because you can't just leave for a week during the regular season. But overall, none of the top teams in the past decade has been as much under the microscope as this one. Even us fans have come to a point where we complain about the high amount of Heat coverage. We all know this team has flaws and issue which need to be adressed but if the media repeats it over and over again, you get tired of it.
The players get to feel it in every game. Every time we face comes into the gym as if it was the game of their life and play us extremely hard. Whereas other clubs can catch a team on an off-night and can just cruise to an easy victory, we can't afford to take our foot off of the gas pedal.

And when you're losing it's all magnified.

Looking at Lebron and bosh in their post game interviews you could see the strain and fatigue in their faces. In England it's quite common for a football team who have a few days free to go for a break together to a resort.

Okay the Bahamas idea was an exaggeration but I'd put them on an Arison cruise ship for a three day break (if they had that time between games). Forget playing, forget video, forget media. Refresh and bond. Then come back eager to pick a ball up and make the push.

Is there any way to get rid of these non-Heat fans with agenda's. I think I speak for everyone when I say it's so f***ing annoying.

They've derailed so many threads during this recent slide of ours. The post-game thread from the Spurs game is a classic example.

I'll be honest, I've just stopped posting because of it. Let them talk to a wall for all I care.

I browse this board to talk to Heat fans. If the other teams' fans were around when we were winning as well then it'd be a different story, but for some odd reason they weren't.

I agree that would be great for the team but I doubt it happens... the media would tear the Heat a new one.

Wow now we have people talking about trading Wade or Bosh. This place is becoming easier to get away from. No longer are the days of BBallFreak, Lane and Mopper ( I was here on a different name). Remember the chat's realgm use to have running for people to use instead of making game threads. Still some quality dudes around here but the sheer amount of panic and apocalyptic attitude around here is pathetic. This wasn't a one year deal, but I get not many people have to ability to have foresight for this team.

This. But even though I'm far from being in panic mode, it is really hard to be a Heat fan these days. Never have I felt so bad about my team despite a great record. All the hate and irrational comments you have to live with regarding team really make you believe you suck.

with the amount of troll threads that we get, why do the mods just lock them and not delete them? is this policy?

just seems to me that if someone registers today and whose only post is a troll thread on our board then we shouldn't give them the satisfaction of leaving the thread up (albeit locked). just delete the damn thing.
