Heat forward Udonis Haslem played through much of the second half of Miami's season with a torn right meniscus, and told The Associated Press that surgery will be required to repair the previously undisclosed injury.

seriously?!?! Wow UD... no wonder. Yet he was still able to pull out those games against Indy...

I remember when he was playing with a cracked rib too

many players would just call it a season, who knows what could have happened in the Pacers series if he did...

get better UD... I honestly expect UD's production to continue it's slight season by season so we should really be looking at someone affordable like ODOM as a guy who could get some minutes at the 4 8-)

what is Lamar Odom up to nowadays? His last 2 seasons have been so bad... dude just fell off the map.

Even though he was a Heat player for 1 year, it feels like more. Maybe cause that 2004 team was awesome lol.

It makes sense why he fell off. The guy eats a trash diet full of candy so it is expected that he aged terribly.

Well, that's pretty out of left field. I feel like he played better the second half of the season too.

Can all the people who screamed to cut and trade and kill Udonis apologize now?

Dream Trade:

Joel Anthony-Mike Miller for Andres Biedrins

Why: We save a few million and get a mobile center that has show some potential.
Why: GS gets another shooter & mobile center that can defend

To me, this year is all about finding some size for this team. We got away with it again this year but every year were finding ourselfs making it harder then it should. We need someone that can bang down low and bring 5 fouls to the other teams in the EAST. Don't forget Birdman is 35, UD is getting old & Battier could retire next season. We need to find someone that understands our D.

I would take Joel any day of the week over the current Biedrins, he his beyond awful :-?

Damn I would kill to somehow get Asik, Huston will get Howard and they really don't need him.

Joel for Asik can work if the Rockets are interested in loading money off their books
Please excuse my bad English, this is not my native language :)

I agree that in recent years Biedrins has been terrible but we need size and any way that we can include Joel in trade for someone that has a chance to play should be explored.

Mario Chalmers, Joel Anthony, 2 1st rounder for Omar Asik

No way Houston does it but salaries work!

Your Joel hate is getting tiring man.

Biedrens is a far worse player. Have you watched him play a game over the last few years? You can't have last season because he couldn't even get on the court.

We aren't getting Omer Asik and no one is biting on Joel Anthony's contract unless we take just as bad one back. Andris Biedrins is on an expiring contract, GSW's are going to give him to us for crap lol.

Return to Miami Heat
