it's amazing how lebron was already getting hate in cleveland by his 4th season. durant is in his 7th now and still so many excuses. he even plays alongside a guy that can put up 40 pts any given night while lebron only had mo williams..

Rose has a career total of something like 5 pts in 7 total playoff overtimes
durant scores 0 pts in overtime tonight, turns the ball over late, misses late shots, has missed both freethrows late in games many times.

nothing heard about it

Lebron would never lose to a team like the memphis grizzlies last year. That team never won a ring, had no hof's , and not even a hof coach. Atleast when lebron lost to the pistons they had a ring

i think the excuses are running out for OKC and also Durant

they lost despite having WB back playing really good

there are just no excuses anymore..

away with mentioning Durant with Lebron in the same sentence

Lebron would have not turned 26(KD before next season starts) with guys like WB and Ibaka without a ring

Not sure where the Thunder goes for improvement after this, all they can really say is at least San Antonio is another year older next season.

They could get a better coach. He must be one of the weakest in the league.

Net here been **** the past few days so couldn't post/browse a lot but great to see that ass whooping MIA gave to IND

I would love to see both Beasley and Oden win rings before Rose and Durant do......still hoping we could keep both for next season for larger roles

And am I the only one annoyed seeing these "The Heat are weaker, they lost Mike Miller!!!" posts? Omg you guys act like he's LeBron or something smh listen I love Mike, but that statement is starting to grind my ears

As for the Finals - I trust the Heatles on this one. It would be crucial to steal 1 of the first 2......don't like coming back home down 0-2 obviously, take it one game at a time

Lewis, give us one more series of that hot shooting and your suckage for the past 1 1/2 years will all be forgiven (well kinda) :D

The Spurs are all class, they let their game do all the talking unlike all these other chumps, so may the best team win

PS....people keep saying again and again that the Spurs had last year in 6 if it wasn't for Ray shot, but I said it before there WAS STILL OT and a whole game 7 that was played after that........time to prove em wrong again man

For me even if the Spurs make it, it's the same protocol.....they don't have anyone to stop LJ for 7 games. Yeah yeah we gonna see Leonard on him but it's gonna hinder his offense just like it did last year. And the Spurs are full of shooters who are hit / miss guys, when they're on they're tough but when they're missing all the pressure falls to Parker to produce.

Heat in 6, but I damn sure wouldn't be surprised if they took it in 5.

Spot on as usual. I feel the same way homie. I would LOVE for Parker to try & beat us each game because you can tell that injury has really limited him. He's not the same player from last year. The other reason is that the Spurs play the EXACT same way they played last year. It's a game of chess with the Spurs & Pop, you've got to beat them at their game because they won't beat themselves. In the 2 games they we played them this season they did the exact same thing in the Finals, clog the paint & force LeBron & D-Wade to make jump shots
In fact wm3, I'd go as far to say these are probably the last days of Parker at his peak. He's 32 going on 33 next May. He's not a spring chicken anymore and injuries will take longer to recover from. I don't care what anyone says, his hamstrings are starting to become chronic problems for him. And guards more than anything need their hams just like QB's need strength to their arms.

Parker is at a point now that he'll have the occasional flash back game of old, but he can't consistently carry the Spurs and when he can't they struggle.

In the long run I don't see Parker being as effective in his mid to late 30's such as Jason Kidd was, simply because he relied so much on his speed in earlier part of his career. He was never a thinking type PG like Kidd or Magic were. Playing at full speed was his strongest advantage, it was the reason his jumper was never consistent. Once his total speed is sapped he's done.

As far as Pop's game plan, he'll do it again as you said. But it won't matter because Pop still doesn't realize that Lebron is smart enough to facilitate the Heat attack to where it's to Lebron's and Wade's advantage. Just like when LJ made the adjustment to move in the post later in the series last Finals. It threw the Spurs off big time. People feed into the hype that Lebron doesn't desire to playing in the post enough, he doesn't have to when he can still explode past anyone. From what I see he goes to it when he wants to see certain things from the defense, the only two players I see doing this is him and Kobe.

 have I ever told you that your'e one of my fav posters & one of the top 5 posters on RealGM? Damn couldn't have said it better myself DEEP & I wish I could give you more than just 1 And 1 because your'e 100 % spot on, especially with the part I bolded

the Durant hate wont happen anytime soon. the LeBron hate was fueled by Jordan & Kobe groupies who were threatened by the talk that Bron was/will be better than them.

KD will get no hate because he threatens no one (yet). there's no motivation to hate him right now

LeBron doesn't get First Team All-Defensive, Wade gets shut out on All-NBA teams. Thanks for the extra motivation pals.

I didn't think it possible after the second year with all the hate, but it's still the Heat versus the world, fellas. I know Lebron said that he doesn't need any more motivation, but one's gotta think that all this negativity and snide comments are definitely making him angry.

yup its always been heat vs the world and the hate is still as strong as ever. only difference is the haters arent as bold or loud because if they were they'd look like idiots

i see it starting up with ppl trying to act like lebron is picking on poor little humble tim duncan

if the heat lose it'll be just as bad as it was when the mavs won

LoL @ a thousand Wade free throws. Funny how NO ONE was complaining that Nowitzki (a guy who's allergic to paint) lead all players in FTAs in the playoffs heading into the Finals. Sports writers are the biggest jokes, it's almost like a pre-requisite to be a loathing douchebag in order to make it in sports journalism.

No reason a 2 point game should grow to 15 because 1 player left the game with such short time remaining. This team is much better than that and it's like they virtually quit out there on the defensive end. All this means is that game 2 is a must win like VS Indiana and in the Finals last year. This team is good enough to get it done.

Knicks fan here, I can only image how pissed Lebron is that Mickey Arison was too cheap to keep Mike Miller. They miss Miller soooo much in this series with defense and ability to hit the 3 consistently

Hold it right there. Mike Miller might have been wonderful for Miami with his hustle, rebounding, and obvious long-ball, but he was no great defender. Let's not travel down the slippery path of nostalgic revisionist history.
