Don't think it is unless you're factoring in a MASSIVE discount for at least one (and probably more like two) of Wade/Deng/Gasol. And even then, Morrow is still out.

Assuming Wade takes a sane discount ($12 million starting salary), we're at about $41 in committed salary with 8 open roster slots. So that's $18 million in space, minus Bird's hold. So I think $17-ish. Assuming Deng costs $10 (which is on the low end), that's $7 million for Gasol, who just turned down 2/$20+ from the Lakers. And again, that's assuming the low end on Wade and Deng, and excluding Morrow, and putting Granger into the Room Mid-Level.

I don't see why Gasol would come here, though. We're not a real contender without him. You'd think he'd want to go to a team that's ready-made, not one where he'll be a necessity.

Yea, not sure Monroe is our guy, but in terms of importance

I don't want us to overpay Deng or any SFs. I kind of want just a defensive specialist at SF (Ennis???) and really SOLIDIFY PG & C!!!! if we can.

Yeah, when Lebron was here and we could only offer 5.4 million dollars. Now we can offer Deng 11M and still have 7M left over for Gasol and still give Wade a deal starting at 12M per

you really think wade is ok with starting at 12 M per after what just transpired today? And UD gotta get his too.

Probably not, but he apparently has notified the FO that he will afford them flexibility so is not agreeing to terms now
