The team made the right choice going with the pro-ready guy that they worked out over the hot name that slid

What is killing me...

Duncan looks so much better at hedging off the 3 point line on defense, on average he is quicker to react to close the space on defense...

JJJ on the other hand is giving more space....but dang man....I swear every time he jumps to defend the 3 he looks like a tennis player with an off hand back stroke at the ball...and comes no where near a block....but dude.... guys must be 0-15 against him with the 3.

I swear every time he uses that backhand swipe against a defender taking the 3 they misss. Even the red-hot bulls from 3 missed them against him.

Hopefully puts the trade rumours to rest. Niko gonna be a player for us, I really believe that.

Not sure if these were shared earlier, but Niko balled out in his first game at Sioux Falls.

Hopefully not, if there’s a trade out there that could potentially put us over the top and they want Niko he needs to go

Yeah pretty much. You get the Jimmy Bucket stamp of approval i don’t think the organization has any aspirations of moving him with all the work they are putting into him. Reminder is he’s still only 20 years old. Any deal at this point will be Lowry, Orlando Robinson, and pick or picks.

Top 15 it is.

Crazy times when Bam scoring 23 actually brings his PPG down on the season. Insane development every year

Miami's been nearly 4 points better in the 4th without him, notice the -6.3 with Herro and the -1.7 without him which is still bad.

Small sample size.

This is totally pointless, the sample size isn't even close to have any meaning.

Kinda have to account for the very start of the season where no one was hitting anything except Herro and Bam. It took us about 5 games for everyone to start getting on the same page. Herro was part of that 7 game-winning streak. He played in 3 of the games and was shining in those games. Also averaged the highest number of steals on the team. Sadly, he landed on someone's foot right as our big three started clicking together. The key that changes everything for us is Robinson being Robinson. When Herro gets back, if the team continues to play the same, we might be surprised when we see the Heat just start absolutely running people right out of the game with an avalanche of points. Most people forget our shooting splits last year were a wildly unexpected situation and not the norm of how this team shoots.

We arguably have 6-7 dudes who can all hang 16-25 pts on you on a given night, and the ones that can't play lockdown defense or just do not get playing time to show what they can do: Niko

2 of the top 3 isolation players in the league on our team?! Crazy to see Jimmy is first when he’s only cared for like 3-4 games this season lol

I swear if Jimmy locked in for a full 82 games he would be an MVP finalist but I also understand his main goal and that he doesn’t care about that stuff

Hope y’all watched Caruso closely and saw the seamless fit he would be here. Outside of not being an elite 3 level scorer he’s everything we need at the guard position. He will cover for Herros defense and is an elite POA defender. He’s definitely a Heat guy.

Caruso Dinwiddie and DFS would do wonders for this team

Sacramento has wanted LaVine for a while, they were the team that gave him an offer back in 2018 when Chicago told him to go get the best offer for them to match. For LaVine the max would have been around ~25 mil, he ended up getting around ~20.

Vital differences in team play is TO. Heat have reduced their turnovers from 16.5 to 11.2 Since Herro's injury specifically in the 4 qt.
