Nice player but making a lot of money at 22 million this year which will make it a pain to match without tossing in Lowry and a pick. Not sure we would have interest.

He only got a two year deal so next season would be an expiring contract. Rumor is his deal will be used as a cap filler for Siakum if Siakum is sent to Indy. Could Lowry return and Lowry contract hold value to Raps. His value my not be extremely high, had some injury issues this season. His skills does fit a lot of Spo system. He his shooting 38% from the corners on a very good volume 45 shots. Can play the press on defense

He’ll be an interesting player to pay attention too especially with the intentions of getting Lowry to the Raptors. I still feel like Schroder would be the target though and the Raps keep Brown as their two with Gary Trent one foot out the door.

Thought he would be a great acquisition since he was a wing who was able to play center in Brooklyn before he signed for nearly nothing in Denver and now is in Indiana. Seems like a great player for Spoelstra's current schemes but is making bigger bucks now.

I don't think you have to convince Spo on getting Murray as his starting PG. I think where our problems start is Miami has not gone the extra Mile, put in the extra chip or made the extra effort. Always negotiating from a position of power and status on why you need to take our poopoo platter and like it. The bad asset management from previous years, that they are still surviving from is why I would expect them to be so tight with trades in regards to assets but its getting a bit ridiculous at this point when your trying to win now.

Ultimately the Heat is an attractive 3rd team for teams trying to achieve what they want. I am assuming the players involved in a Siakum deal will be Hield and Brown. Are the Raps intentions to resign Hield? Idk.

Brown could be a great PJ Tucker system role-player type of move.

It’s looking like Buddy will be staying in Indy. His shooting is very important for their offense

Your gonna have to further explain that one to me to help me understand what makes you think that lol?
jeje... It's just the way he moves and Shoots... also the way he dunks And passes.. Maybe it's because they're playing the same position... I dont know Why he Reminds me Exactly

JJJ is smaller and he positions himself Better Than nowitsky... but it's The way he goes about it...

I think He reminds me of dirk because of the way He seems to play and see the game.

For me JOVIC looks like a bigger version of Hedo Turkoglu and JJJ looks like a bigger version of Andre Miller.

My earlier season argument for Mia to acquire him seemed to be falling on deaf ears back then.

His 12-13 mil salary along with there vet expiring add ins make so much sense for our cap situation. Also gives us PG insurance next year and also presents a great attachment expiring deal for a star player. Lots to like.

Schroder is the type that plays at another gear in prime time too. Similar to Jimmy he plays at like 7-8 during the season, then in tournament play or playoffs he goes over 10+.

Schroder has been consistently bad in the playoffs.

It's the best footwork I've seen from a rookie since Hakeem Olajuwon. But he's not being focused defensively from the opposing teams yet. We'll see if he keeps it up once teams start doing homework on him before playing us

To me, Dirk always reminds me of his deadly high kick outside jumpers, lol. I don't think JJJ will ever have that in his arsenal. Hope his corner threes become more consistent tho

Dejounte Murray‘s list of potential suitors includes the Spurs, Lakers, Nets, Knicks and Pistons, Stein reports. The Hawks, as previously noted, are looking to replenish their draft assets after they gave up three first-round picks (two of their own) and a pick swap to acquire him from San Antonio in 2022.

Siakum likely will be the first shoe to drop and will set the market on what it takes to get a player.

When teams leak information like this, it's because they are not getting offers they like

Terry wants Miami. There you have it, a player at your biggest position of need who is great at another need (3 level scoring at 24 PPG) and playmaking. Drop every other PG idea and focus on getting this one done unless Murray flat out says he wants Miami, which isn’t going to happen.

Reminder:

Rozier without Lamelos high usage inefficient chucking: 25-4-7.5 with a 29% usage. 39% from 3 on 8 attempts (Duncan/Herro levels of shooting). This would be a massive boost to the team.

I could see him sliding in and averaging an efficient 18-4-6 pretty easily.
