They better not trade Winnie, I will flip out.

Btw, I’m still pissed the Heat had to stretch Ryan Anderson. Goran + Anderson for Westbrook and whatever would have been the perfect deal. Okc does not want Westbrook. They need to stop pretending they are going to get anything but capspace by trading him. That contract sucks.

I think Heat are latching the hell on to Winslow which is why no trade has been done. Heat want to see if OKC will fold into just NOT taking any of our young guys.

I mean is it fair to us? Dragic is an all-star player before he got injured last year. I think people are putting his value extremely low and he’s an expiring contract so that’s an added bonus if you want to part ways with him anyways.

I think we’ve agreed on the framework of the deal and we’re either waiting for the 3rd team to confirm their end of the deal (eg Cavs taking a contract+pick for JR) or OKC are waiting until tomorrow, so that Russ’ trade officially happens on the day after the PG trade (for optics and to give him his time in the media - local and national).

My opinion is that this isn’t a sign of stalling or a power play by the Heat, but rather them knowing our financial side of this deal.

I predict we hear a resolution very soon (24 hours perhaps) - either we have him or we get clear word that we’ve moved on from the conversations.

Can Ochocinco deliver Beal after this? Forget OPs - if Chad delivers 85 must be retired! As tempting as a Brodie, Buckets or Beal Miami nights jersey will be, a black “Ochocinco” #85 might be in order!

Read on Twitter

Per Ellis, he reached out to a source with firsthand knowledge of the situation involving Westbrook, with the source responding, “Ridiculous… (n)othing there.”

I think if the trade is between us and Milwaukee then trade we should trade nothing of value for Russ, let Milwaukee take Westbrook on because I highly doubt they will be prepared to pay Westbrook, Middleton and pay Giannis the supermax over the next 4+ years.

Dragic will be going to Dallas after his contract is up to be with his buddy Luka. Might as well get something for him. We already tried to trade him and it got shot down because Dallas wanted to be more flexible and almost ruined our trade, forcing us to hand over a 1st rounder to Clippers I believe it was smh. Dragic's going to sign for less too, watch.

The more teams vocally saying they aren't interested in Westbrook, the better the deal will be for us

Windhorst on ESPN saying the lack of ability for the Heat to take back salary is holding up a deal. Need to find a 3rd team to willing to take on a bit of cap space

I have been sayimg this for the last few days. Just common sense at this point. Need to press OKC into giving up one of it's 20 first round picks or multiple seconds with one of our attached contracts like JJ or Waiters to a third team to absorb or return lesser salaried player.

Nah i still think Winslow is the key to the deal. The obstacle is finding a third team to eat a matching salary contract we have to give up like JJ or Waiters that OKC does not want. Have to push OKC to toss in multiple seconds or a protected first to a third team. Maybe we release pick protection as compensation for this. The JR Smith contract still makes the most sense.

Seems simple enough.
